LGBT Cries Foul when Ken Ham’s ‘Ark Encounter’ Exhibit Issues Call For Christians To ‘Reclaim The Rainbow’

I love the mission and message of Mr. Ham, the man behind the world-famous Ark Encounter has decided to reclaim “God’s rainbow”. Ken Ham founder of Answers in Genesis, the Creation Museum, and the Ark attraction has announced the massive ark exhibit will be permanently bathed in rainbow lights!

“And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations: I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth. And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud: And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh. And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth. And God said unto Noah, This is the token of the covenant, which I have established between me and all flesh that is upon the earth.” Genesis 9:12-17 (KJV)

The LGBT Rainbow is not the same thing as God’s rainbow. For one thing, the LGBT Rainbow only has 6 colors, while God’s rainbow has 7. The number 7 in the Bible is a number that represents God’s completeness. 7 days in the week, 7 whole notes in the musical scale, 7 Churches in Revelation, etc. The number 6, however, is the number of man in general and when tripled the number of Antichrist. So since these two rainbows are so markedly different, there is nothing to take back. But it’s certainly a great object lesson between God’s wonderful creation and man’s miserable corrupt imitation.

“We now have new permanent rainbow lights at the Ark Encounter so all can see that it is God’s rainbow and He determines its meaning in Genesis 6,” Answers in Genesis founder Ken Ham announced on Facebook.

“The rainbow is a reminder God will never again judge the wickedness of man with a global Flood—next time the world will be judged by fire,” he said.

Ark Encounter and God’s Rainbow

Noah’s Ark Encounter exhibit wants to take back the rainbow from LGBT

The 500-foot-long ark is the centerpiece of the biblical theme park based in Williamstown, Kentucky. Hundreds of thousands of visitors have toured the replica of Noah’s Ark.

“The Ark is lit permanently at night with a rainbow to remind the world that God owns it and He decreed it’s a sign of His covenant with man after the Flood—Christians need to take back the rainbow as we do at the Ark Encounter,” Ham said.

Critics denounced the decision — accusing him of stealing the rainbow colors from the LGBT community.

“This is Ken Ham’s sad attempt to take back the rainbow symbol from the LGBTQ community,” read a headline in the Orlando Weekly.

“It makes the ark look incredibly gay,” Kentucky Fairness Campaign’s Chris Hartman told USA Today.

In 2016 Ham urged Christians to reclaim the rainbow and teach young people its true meaning:

“The rainbow itself wasn’t designed to be a symbol of freedom, love, pride or the LGBTQ movement. God created this beautiful, colorful phenomenon and designated it as a sign of His covenant with Noah and his descendants forever.”

“Sadly, people ignore what God intended the rainbow to represent and proudly wave rainbow-colored flags in defiance of God’s command and design for marriage. Because of this, many Christians shy away from using the rainbow colors. But the rainbow was a symbol of God’s promises before the LGBTQ movement—and will continue to be after that movement has ended. As Christians, we need to take the rainbow back and teach our young people its true meaning.”

It’s interesting that in the bible, God explains that the reason God destroyed the world by flood at the time of Noah is because people were given to much sexual sin including promiscuity and homosexuality and were unrepentant about it. He also destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah by fire for the same reasons. The rainbow promise was God’s promise to man that he would no longer destroy the world by flood. However, in the bible, God also prophesies about the coming judgement and that the coming of Jesus will be “as in the days of Noah” meaning that people will again be rampantly and openly participating in sexual sins and “exchanging the natural use for one another of the same sex.” Today couldn’t be any clearer than that we are living again as in the days of Noah. Judgement is coming soon.

But, the interesting part regarding the rainbow is, of course, why wouldn’t the devil who is full of trickery and deceit and is always turning things upside down and convincing people to call evil good and good evil, pervert the use of God’s symbol which was related to his destruction of man for their sexual sins and use it to champion those sins in the face of God, leading people to raise their fists in utter defiance and mockery of God’s justice and mercy? Of COURSE the LGBTQ soon to add P for pedophile, S for sodomize, F for fornicate, and the rest of the alphabet. (Well, you get the meaning!) Community is doing this,  just like they try to redefine what “marriage” means, what “boy” or “girl” means. Their consciences are seared and they follow the works of darkness blindly. They are lost goats following their god, the devil without even knowing it. It’s actually really sad and hurts my heart for them that they are so deceived by a malevolent devil who seeks after their destruction on a daily basis. May God open their eyes to see, their ears to hear, and their hearts to repent and be saved through Jesus Christ or keep spitting into the face of God and be damned for eternity! source
