The Rising Tide Of Transgender Millennials, when asked their Sex, some are going with option ‘X’

A struggle with identity

One of the first Americans to fight in the courts for recognition as non-binary is Jamie Shupe. Shupe made history last year after a ruling made the Army veteran the first person in the U.S. to be legally allowed to identify as neither male or female.

Shupe — who prefers the pronouns they, them and their — spent their childhood, adolescence and most of adulthood as a male. Shupe served 18 years in the U.S. Army, got married and had a daughter.

Through all that time, Shupe wrestled with their sexual identity, never comfortable living life as a male. The stress of hiding took a heavy toll.

“I’m actually on disability because of PTSD,” Shupe said. “I’m not a combat veteran. I had deployed to Kuwait. I served in the Bosnia theater, I spent a year in Korea, but quite honestly, most of my military trauma came from being picked on for being thought of as being gay, or living in fear of getting thrown out of the military.”

Shupe made the decision to transition to living as a female and began hormone replacement therapy in 2013. But even as Shupe began the process, they had doubts about becoming a woman.

“I only became a female because I had no other choice,” Shupe said. “All of the systems channeled me in that direction, both medical and government, until I took a stand against that. It wasn’t until I got to Portland and got exposure to the queer community that I then understood how wrong all of what had been done to me was.”

For Shupe, the three years of living like a woman were nearly as painful as those spent as a man.

“Turning a male body, especially an older male body into a female, I think it really sets the stage for people committing suicide,” Shupe said. “I mean you had to maintain a hyper-feminine appearance 24-7 or you were back to getting called sir.”

Shupe believed their gender identity was more feminine than masculine, but was not interested in changing physically into a female through surgery. Shupe couldn’t identify with the transgender women who felt they were “born in the wrong body.”

“To me, they’re basically viewing themselves as defective and thinking that they need to be fixed,” Shupe said. “Instead, I view myself as just a unique variation of nature that’s just fine like it is.”

America has slowly begun to acknowledge that for many people, gender is much more complicated than simply being a man or a woman. And a growing number of Americans are seeking recognition of a third gender, neither exclusively male or female, under the label non-binary.

EDITOR’S NOTE: One of the greatest Bible teachers of the 20th century, Peter S. Ruckman, had a very good and very controversial teaching where he connects the letter “x” with the coming Antichrist. He goes on to give a list (quoted in article below) of  words that begin with “x” that all seem to have something creepy in common. He passed away last year at the age of 95, but the coming craziness he predicted decades ago is now coming to pass. As for that list of words that begin with “x”, you might want to check it out. Seriously. You should.

People typically think of transgender as meaning gender reversal, where someone identifies as the opposite sex from their birth sex. But transgender is an umbrella term used to cover a wide spectrum of people whose gender identity is different from the one they were assigned at birth even pedophiles!

More than one-third of transgender people describe themselves as non-binary, which the National Center for Transgender Equality defines as “people whose gender is not exclusively male or female, including those who identify with a gender other than male or female, as more than one gender, or as no gender, identifying as a combination of genders or not identifying with either gender at all.”

Asia Kate Dillon will be presenting the acting award in history with no gender distinction at this year’s MTV Movie and TV Awards in Los Angeles.

Non-binary people have always been part of the population. But for the first time, state governments in the U.S.. are beginning to recognize their identity. Oregon approved a third gender option on driver’s licenses last week; California’s Senate passed a law with the same aim, and similar legislation was introduced in both New York and the District of Columbia this week.

Non-binary people are now represented in popular culture as well. Actor Asia Kate Dillon, who is credited with being the “first non-binary actor ever to be portrayed on TV,” plays a gender non-binary character on the Showtime series Billions.

“Hello, I’m Taylor. My pronouns are they, theirs and them,” Dillon’s Billions character declares when introduced to one of the show’s two protagonists. The scene likely also introduced the concept of non-binary people and non-gender specific pronouns to many viewers.

Words that begin with “x” that you should know about:

The most interesting thing about the number 666 is that it contains three words that end in “X”…Words that will damn the human race are as follows: sex, hex, pox, vex, hoax, jinx, tax, marx, etc. The two latest are “Xerox” and “Fax,” although you will have to admit that Felix, Sphinx, Lynx, Styx, and Rex are very appropriate since the Son of Perdition is a King likened to a cat. “Also rans” are Ax (Rev. 20:4), Ox (Ex. 32), Lux (Isa. 14:12), Vox (Rev. 13:5), X-mas, and “Malcom X.” “X” marks the spot. (Ruckman, Peter. Ruckman’s Bible References: Personal Notes on Salient Verses in the Bible. 1997, p. 364)

The issue of gender on official documentation is not merely a semantic one.

Nearly one-third of transgender people said they were harassed, assaulted or denied service because their ID did not match their “gender presentation,” according to the 2015 U.S. Transgender Survey from the National Center for Transgender Equality.

“Presenting an identification document that does not accurately reflect one’s sex and is inconsistent with one’s gender identity can trigger invasions of privacy, prejudice, stigma, violence and discrimination and harassment in a wide variety of settings, including in employment, education, public accommodations, health care, housing and interactions with the government, including with law enforcement,” the LGBT civil rights group Lambda Legal wrote to the Oregon Department of Transportation arguing for the rule change to allow a third gender option.

Oregon became the first state to give residents the option to identify as neither male or female on their driver’s licenses and state identification cards Thursday after a ruling by the Oregon Transportation Commission. Beginning July 1, those IDs will offer an “X” as a third option in addition to the traditional “F” and “M.”

A bill passed the California Senate to allow the state’s residents to change their gender identity on their birth certificates and state IDs, including driver’s licenses, to “female, male, or non-binary.” The bill is currently awaiting a vote in the state Assembly. Similar legislation has been introduced in New York and the District of Columbia.

Making history

When Shupe decided to fight to be legally recognized as non-binary, they expected a big legal battle, Shupe said.

“But in the end, the huge legal and non-binary civil rights battle that I expected to unfold going into this never came to pass; simply because this was always the right thing to do all along,” Shupe said in a statement after the Oregon Transportation Commission’s decision to include an X option.

“From a government perspective, there’s no rational basis to deny it,” said Lake Perriguey, the Portland-based lawyer who represented Shupe. Perriguey noted the lack of opposition to the change.

“A year is an incredibly quick shift in policy for the state,” said Perriguey, who will be handing out X-marked doughnut holes when the Oregon DMV begins issuing IDs with a third gender option. “It’s great when government works that way.”

Shupe’s argument to the DMV was so effective because Shupe had already been legally recognized as non-binary, Perriguey said. “And that’s the same kind of argument Jamie will use to try to get a passport,” the attorney added.

Jamie Shupe holds a sign demanding transgender rights at Pioneer Square in Portland, Ore., March 31, 2016.

The next battle

The fight to get a third gender option on federal documents like passports is the next major hurdle in non-binary Americans’ struggle for legal recognition.

Dana Zzyym, a Navy veteran from Colorado, has already taken a request for a third gender option to the State Department. Zzyym is intersex, meaning they were born with sexual anatomy that does not fit the typical definition of male or female.

The State Department cited fraud concerns when arguing against Zzyym’s request in federal court. But the department’s lawyer Ryan Parker said that “if states were to change their policy and were to issue driver’s licenses that identified the driver’s sex as ‘X,’ maybe that would be something that the State Department would need to take into account as it’s reexamining its policy.”

A federal judge ruled that the State Department’s refusal to meet Zyym’s request was “arbitrary and capricious.” The judge ordered the government to come up with more convincing arguments against providing a third gender option or to change the policy.

The judge did not give a deadline for the State Department to satisfy the ruling, but Lambda Legal Senior Attorney Paul Castillo promised the non-profit would take action “relatively soon” if the government “continues to refuse to modify its policy.”

“Not only is it a matter of safety and privacy, it’s’ a matter of human dignity,” Castillo said.

Unlike Shupe’s lawsuit in Oregon, there is opposition to the idea of a third gender option in California and on the federal level. And Shupe fears for their safety after some of the comments Shupe has read since becoming a focal point in the non-binary debate.

“All the Bible-thumpers believe that there’s only males and females according to the Bible,” Shupe said when explaining the cause of their fears. “I’m the person that destroyed that in the United States.”

Shupe said that once the federal government recognizes non-binary as a gender the battle will be won and Shupe hopes they can then stop being such a public figure.

“Once the State Department battle is over, I think I’ll just be back to being a normal person again living in relative obscurity,” Shupe said. “I’m really proud that I did this, but the fame of it is a big burden. And I didn’t do it to get famous I did it because it had to be done.”

EDITOR’S NOTE: Whilst you were sleeping and posting on Facebook satan used one man to overturn America! Doesn’t that make all you Bible-thumpers proud out there? Most of you so-called, self-proclaimed Christians wont even have read this far! I could stick my tongue out at you, and you wouldn’t even know it!…You know what? I am sticking my tongue out at you right now. So is Jesus, and you’ll find that out on judgement day, when you find out you weren’t so self-righteous as you thought you were, posting on Facebook for your own fame instead of being busy behind the scenes, helping ministries as Jesus wanted you to do!!!

Now this is either going to make you happy as pie, or, bring a tear to your eye!

Iran Feverishly Building Nuclear Program to aim ICBM’s at America

Intel Report: Iran Refining Nuke Delivery System in Flagrant Violation of Ban.
Increased ICBM work offers pathway to long-range nuclear weapon.

Iran Furiously Building Nuclear Program Because Obama Treaty Protects Them From Scrutiny.

Iran continues to make critical technological strides in its efforts to perfect an intercontinental ballistic missile capable of delivering nuclear weapons over great distances, efforts that violate international prohibitions, according to the director of national intelligence, who informed Congress this week that the Islamic Republic “would choose ballistic missiles as its preferred method of delivering nuclear weapons.”

The disclosure comes just days after Iranian leaders announced the upcoming launch of two new domestically produced satellites. Iran has long used its space program as cover for illicit missile work, as the know-how needed to launch such equipment can be applied to long-range ballistic missile technology.

Daniel Coats, America’s top spymaster, informed Congress this week in an intelligence briefing that Iran’s ballistic missile work continues unimpeded and could be used by the Islamic Republic to launch a nuclear weapon, according to unclassified testimony.

Turns out Obama’s “historic deal” was actually a cover for Iran to build nuclear weapons faster:

Iran’s ballistic missile work, particularly its focus on ICBMs, runs counter to United Nations resolutions barring such activity, though it remains unclear if the Trump administration plans to pursue new sanctions on Iran.
Iran continues to perform key research and development on nuclear missile capabilities despite the landmark nuclear agreement with Western powers, according to the last U.S. intelligence assessments.

“Iran is pursuing capabilities to meet its nuclear energy and technology goals and to give it the capability to build missile-deliverable nuclear weapons, if it chooses to do so” Coats wrote in his written testimony to the Senate intelligence committee.

U.S. officials are unsure if Iran will build nuclear weapons, but it is likely this intention would dictate Tehran’s future adherence to the nuclear deal, which the administration of former President Barack Obama framed in such a way as to leave out the issue of ballistic missiles.

The reality of Obama’s Iranian Nuclear Deal:

The United States assesses that Iran remains about a year away from a functional nuclear missile if it decides to build one in violation of the nuclear deal.

Iranian military leaders claim their missile work is unrelated to the nuclear agreement and permissible under it. The country’s refusal to abandon this work has caused concern on Capitol Hill, as well as among U.S. national security insiders who view the work as related to Iran’s aspirations for regional dominance.

The U.S. intelligence community maintains that Iran—which has the largest inventory of ballistic missiles in the Middle East—likely would use this technology to launch a nuclear weapon.

“We judge that Tehran would choose ballistic missiles as its preferred method of delivering nuclear weapons, if it builds them,” according to Coats. “Iran’s ballistic missiles are inherently capable of delivering WMD, and Tehran already has the largest inventory of ballistic missiles in the Middle East.”

“Tehran’s desire to deter the United States might drive it to field an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM),” Coats wrote, referring to Iran’s covert missile work. “Progress on Iran’s space program could shorten a pathway to an ICBM because space launch vehicles use similar technologies.”

Iran “continues to leverage cyber espionage, propaganda, and attacks to support its security priorities, influence events and foreign perceptions, and counter threats—including against U.S. allies in the region,” Coats testified.

This includes cyber attacks “directly against the United States,” such as in 2013, when an Iranian hacker penetrated the computer systems of a U.S. dam.

Iran also is pursuing a massive buildup of its military, which observers have described as unprecedented.

The U.S. intelligence community has confirmed that Iran is developing “a range of new military capabilities to monitor and target U.S. and allied military assets in the region, including armed UAVs [drones], ballistic missiles, advanced naval mines, unmanned explosive boats, submarines and advanced torpedoes, and anti-ship and land-attack cruise missiles,” according to Coats. source

John McCain Says ‘New World Order Under Enormous Strain’ Begs For Globalism To Be Preserved

The world “cries out for American and European leadership” through the EU and Nato, US senator John McCain said on Friday (24 March).

In a “new world order under enormous strain” and in “the titanic struggle with forces of radicalism … we can’t stand by and lament, we’ve got to be involved,” said McCain, a former Republican presidential candidate who is now chairman of the armed services committee in the US Senate.

Speaking at the Brussels Forum, a conference organised by the German Marshall Fund, a transatlantic think tank, he said that the EU and the US needed to develop “more cooperation, more connectivity”.

John McCain is very concerned about preserved the New World Order:

“I trust the EU,” he said, defending an opposite view from that of US president Donald Trump, who said in January that the UK “was so smart in getting out” of the EU and that Nato was “obsolete”.

He said that the EU was “one of the most important alliances” for the US and that the EU and Nato were “the best two sums in history”, which have maintained peace for the last 70 years.

“We need to rely on Nato and have a Nato that adjusts to new challenges,” he said.

He noted that “the EU has too many bureaucrats, not much bureaucracy,” but added that “it’s not the only place on earth with that problem.”

He said that he was “still wondering what the overall effect of Brexit will be” and that he did not know “if this is the beginning of a serious problem for the EU”.

He said that he was “still wondering what the overall effect of Brexit will be” and that he did not know “if this is the beginning of a serious problem for the EU”.

McCain also said that he supported Trump’s demand that European countries increase their defence spending for Nato.

‘Who drives the tweets?’

But he added that Americans should “also appreciate the fact that over 1,000 young [European] people have given their lives in Afghanistan or Iraq”.

“I don’t know what price tag you put on that. That’s quite a contribution I would say, if you ask their mothers,” he said.

The influential senator, who admitted that he has not met Trump since the election, said it was “too early” to pass judgment on his presidency.

He said he was “very pleased” by Trump’s picks for his national security team, but suggested that they were being bypassed by more ideological and less competent people.

“The question is: who does the president listen to, who drives the tweets at 6 in morning?”, he said.

Asked whether he thought that “Russia owns a significant part of the White House,” he said: “I don’t worry about that.”

What worries him, he said, was “the Russian role in our elections”, even if he admitted that he has seen “no evidence they succeeded” in affecting the outcome of last year’s US vote.

McCain, The EU has too many bureaucrats, not much bureaucracy but it’s not the only place on earth with that problem.

‘KGB thugs’

Noting that Russia was now trying to influence elections in France and in Germany, he said that if it succeeded it would be “a death warrant for democracy”.

“It’s an act of destruction that is certainly more lethal than dropping some bombs,” he insisted.

McCain, a Russia hawk, said that Putin wanted to restore the Russian empire: “He wants the Baltics, he has taken Crimea, he’s been in Ukraine.”

“These are KBG thugs, my friends,” he said, referring to the former Russian spy service for which Putin used to work. He added that the US needed to “respond accordingly”.

He said however that there was “nothing wrong” if Trump met Putin.

“I’m not against meeting,” he said, reminding the Brussels forum that US presidents met Soviet leaders during the Cold War. But he added that “the best way to go to a meeting is with a strong hand” and that was not the case for the US right now.

I would agree that at the moment the EU and NATO is pretty much defunct now, but that doesn’t mean with the right person that will come into power and lead the alliance that it cannot become alive again and be a super powerhouse. It will and the right person will come into power and lead the alliance, after all many countries have thrown their hats in the alliance ring including under Obama America has too! The world is getting ready for the beast talked about in Revelation that will have power over the nations. So these are things to come and I’m saying sooner rather than later. Please Lord Jesus come soon, We Need You!

How One Texas Judge May Have Sealed The Fate Of LGBTQ Rights Under Donald Trump

This article was written by a self-acclaimed Queer by the name of Michelangelo Signorile, Queer Voices Editor-at-Large, The Huffington Post

QUEER VOICES
How One Texas Judge May Have Sealed The Fate Of LGBTQ Rights Under Donald Trump
The goal is to make it acceptable to discriminate based on religious beliefs

Over the holidays, while many people weren’t paying attention, a Texas federal judge, District Court Judge Reed O’Connor, issued an injunction barring protections for transgender people under the Affordable Care Act as well as protections for women seeking a “termination of pregnancy”:

The judge also ruled that plaintiffs were likely to prevail in court on their claim that the new policy infringes on the rights of private healthcare providers under the Religious Freedom Restoration Act [RFRA].

The injunction has terrible and immediate implications for health care coverage for women and transgender people. Less noted in coverage of the decision, however, is that O’Connor’s legal argument for the injunction could also have far-reaching effects on LGBTQ rights more broadly, possibly allowing for discrimination by bakers and florists and others who’ve claimed their “religious freedom” is infringed upon if they must serve queer people under the law in their states.

It could be used to invalidate anti-discrimination laws in the states banning employment and housing discrimination for LGBTQ people (almost half of U.S. states have such laws), giving employers, landlords and businesses religious exemptions. And it could give encouragement to zealots in passing more laws likeNorth Carolina’s HB2, regulating bathroom access for transgender people. Texas in fact this week moved forward on a so-called bathroom bill, introduced by the Texas lieutenant governor, Dan Patrick.

Because of the timing of O’Connor’s injunction and the fact that conservatives venue-shopped – took this case to a conservative Texas federal court and got an injunction that applied to the entire country – the decision came down days before President Obama leaves office and one day before the new Obamacare rule would take effect. And no one should count on a Trump/Pence administration to save the regulation, as law professor Art Leonard points out at Gay City News:

The unlikelihood that the incoming Trump administration would defend the regulation in any appeal of the preliminary injunction means that O’Connor has probably gutted those nondiscrimination protections for good, even if Obamacare itself survives in some form going forward.

The broader effect on LGBTQ rights comes from O’Connor basing his decision on the Supreme Court’s Hobby Lobby decision of 2014, arguing that the co-plaintiffs in the current case, three Christian-affiliated medical groups,  (which were joined by the states of Texas, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Kansas, Louisiana, Arizona, Kentucky, and Mississippi), should have the “religious freedom” to turn away transgender people.

O’Connor relied on Justice Alito’s majority decision in Hobby Lobby, which had many LGBT activists concerned that the argument used to allow Hobby Lobby stores to deny women medical coverage for certain forms of contraception based on the owners’ religious beliefs could also be used to allow discrimination against LGBT people. Some legal observers had suggested at the time that Justice Kennedy’s concurring decision in Hobby Lobby reinforced that the decision wasn’t to be used to allow for broad discrimination, and prevented the decision from allowing discrimination against LGBT people.

But with O’Connor interpreting Hobby Lobby his way, Mark Joseph Stern, legal analyst and writer at Slate, told me in an interview that other judges in lower courts would now feel free to do the same. And Donald Trump will be filling many court vacancies, surely with more conservative judges just like O’Connor. By the time a case gets to the Supreme Court, the high court too could be a radically different one, transformed by Trump, who could fill two or more seats on the court. Any caveats in the Hobby Lobby decision preventing broader discrimination could be killed by a new court.

As Stern wrote at Slate:

Ever since the Hobby Lobby decision, progressives have warned that RFRA poses a grave threat to LGBTQ rights, fearing that businesses can use it to circumvent nondiscrimination laws shielding LGBTQ people. That fear is now an undeniable reality. O’Connor held that treating transgender patients—and even insuring transgender patients—“substantially burdens” insurance companies and hospitals’ “exercise of religion…With his decision, then, O’Connor provides a neat template for future judges irritated by nondiscrimination statutes: Make up a version of the law that isn’t real, then strike down the real law based on your made-up version of it.

Texas federal judge, District Court Judge Reed O’ConnorLayer on top of that Trump’s promise to evangelicals to sign the First Amendment Defense Act, which would allow for anti-LGBTQ religious exemptions in federal law and with which members of Congress now are moving forward. The goal is to make it normal and perfectly acceptable to discriminate against LGBTQ people based on religious beliefs. And, if achieved, it will be that much harder for LGBTQ activists to beat back this blatant discrimination.

Editors note: This is Not a Us Vs. Them in any way. Is God Merciful and full of Grace? Yes, but two other things as well, Holy and Just. Are we to love the sinner and hate the sin? I forgot the exact Scriptures to back that up. Or are we to condone the sin? I also forgot the Scriptures to back that up as well, might be that I’m getting older, or it may be that people have said that, but it still remains Not the message of the Bible! What happened to Reprove, Rebuke and let people know they will go to Hell if they keep up with their present lifestyle? Not only will they have to answer for what lifestyle they chose to live, but You also will have to answer for what You said or didn’t say! So if you’ve said it’s ok, it’s their right to live as they want to, that it is their lives and we need to love the sinners, and never tell them they will face a Holy and Vengeful God that needs to remove all hints of sin, then You too will need to answer to that same Holy Just God!

Did you know this was their take on the subject? No me either! The entire article dripping with hate and wanting total control! Since when did we have to bend or even change the Constitution of the United States to their un-merited will, of the 1% populous of America to bend to their will? I’m not sorry to say this after I read this article, but we will not bend to their will, no matter how much they get their panties in a bunch! Religious freedom is after all Guaranteed to us through the Constitution and other laws need to bend to the Constitution, not the other way around! If we use the Constitution as toilet paper as some have, what do we have left? Poopy butts, that’s what!

Think about that for a minute!

China’s Cult Crackdown: What Is The Church Of Almighty God?

In China’s latest attempt to crack down on religious cults, 21 members of the banned Church of Almighty God were given jail terms, state media said Wednesday. The group was blamed for the death of a 37-year-old woman who was beaten to death at a McDonald’s after she refused to give her phone number to members who tried to recruit her.

Two of the four members in that case were sentenced to death in October. Two of the individuals sentenced on Wednesday have been given seven- and four-year prison terms for “organizing and using the cult to damage law enforcement,” Shanghai Daily reports. The men, identified as Zhang Shuzhi and Geng Yuqin, were sentenced at a court in China’s northeastern Liaoning province.

Police arrested them in July after reportedly finding memory cards and books that contained information on the cult’s teachings. The court also found the two men recruited new members as well.

The remaining 19 members received prison sentences between two and six years in neighboring Jilin province. The city of Yanji has reportedly been cracking down on the cult, Xinhua reports.

Religion in China

While the Chinese government allows Buddhism, Taoism, Islam, and Catholic and Protestant Christianity to be practiced, the groups must be affiliated with a government organization called the State Administration for Religious Affairs. However, millions attend “house churches” and follow other unsanctioned religious organizations.

The Church of Almighty God (also known as Eastern Lightning) is among the 14 religious groups the Chinese government has labeled an “evil cult.” These organizations face strict scrutiny since some have been known to cause unrest. For instance, the Taiping Rebellion of the mid-19th century that resulted in 20 million deaths, was started by a man who believed he was the younger brother of Jesus.

Church of Almighty God

Up to a million members across China follow the Church of Almighty God since its founding in 1989. Most are in rural areas. Its members believe that God has returned to Earth as a woman named Yang Xiangbin, who will guide mankind for the third and last time. China’s Communist Party is called “the Great Red Dragon,” whose growth triggers the end of the world. Previously, the cult pushed the doomsday belief that the apocalypse would take place on Dec. 21, 2012. At the time nearly 1,000 members were arrested for handing out apocalyptic pamphlets.

According to a 2014 report by China’s People Daily, members who attract more converts gain a higher status within the cult. Tactics include missionary work where nonmembers are enticed with money, gifts and sexual favors. A member receives 20,000 yuan ($3,237) for every new person they convert. New members are encouraged to purchase religious materials and pay 2,000 yuan ($323) in membership fees. They are told they will be punished if they leave the faith.

Latest Crackdown

To date, the group has been associated with several crimes. In 1998, eight violent riots have taken place in Henan province. In 2010, an elementary school student was murdered after his uncle tried to leave the cult. In 2012, a 36-year-old man went on a stabbing spree in Chenpeng village where 22 students and one elderly woman were injured.

Liu Ling is a Peking University graduate student who has been studying the Church of Almighty God for two years as part of her thesis work. In an interview with the Los Angeles Times in June, she explained that while she has read media reports about the group’s violent attacks, she has been unable to verify they took place. She has interviewed relatives of cult members who say they have had their windows smashed and fires set in their yards as an effort to force them to join the group — but nothing as violent as the McDonald’s murder that took place in May.

In wake of that incident, Chinese authorities have intensified efforts to find Almighty God members and arrest them. So far, about 1,500 members have been arrested. Some have been in custody since 2012, the New York Times reports. For some, the crackdown is reminiscent of what took place in 1999 when members of the quasi-spiritual movement known as Falun Gong were jailed after 10,000 members peacefully demonstrated outside the government’s central compound.

Today, banners are seen in public spaces across China urging people to, “Believe in science, create culture, make great efforts against evil cults.”

“I think it’s more visible. After the Falun Gong, there was a wave of this kind of propaganda,” Nanlai Cao, associate professor in religious studies at the People’s University of China in Beijing, told the Los Angeles Times. “The past five years, I don’t think it was very visible, but now I think it’s a big issue and has become a top priority for government officials.”

Church of Almighty God

Deceived by the Lightning

Christians in mainland China’s “underground” house churches have faced persecution from the country’s Communist government for years. They now face another threat from one of the mainland’s largest cults, which frequently uses deception and coercion to gain converts from among house churches.

The cult calls itself “The Church of Almighty God.” The Chinese government refers to it as the “Real God” cult. Chinese Christians call it “Eastern Lightning.” Its followers believe that Jesus has returned in the form of a Chinese woman, like “lightning that comes from the east,” according to the description of His second coming in Matthew 24:27.

Its official name is the Church of Almighty God (Chinese: 全能神教会; pinyin: Quánnéng Shén Jiàohuì), but it is known by many names, prominently also as Church of the Gospel’s Kingdom (国度福音教会; Guódù fúyīn jiàohuì). The group has been described as a cult and a terrorist organization.

Estimates of the group’s size vary. A November 2001 Time magazine article titled “Jesus is Back, and She’s Chinese” said followers numbered themselves at 300,000, although observers estimated only tens of thousands. A 2002 report produced by the Center for Religious Freedom, which contained copies of seven confidential documents from a Chinese government report on religious cults, said that the group had active organizations in more than 10 provinces and cities and was deceiving thousands. China For Jesus, a Christian mission organization, estimates that the cult has more than a million members in 20 provinces. Fear of government persecution has driven religious groups in China underground, making an accurate head count of any group’s followers virtually impossible.

According to the secret security documents, the public security minister, Jia Chunwang, called for increased action against the cult, saying, “We need to work more, talk less to smash the cult quietly.” Security officials are concerned by the cult’s declaration that China is the Great Red Dragon of the book of Revelation who faces destruction. Beijing police arrested more than 2,000 followers of the cult prior to 2002, but they were not able to destroy the group.

Scores of first-hand accounts received by Christian organizations working in China confirm the devastating effect that the Eastern Lightning cult is having on the house churches. A report titled “When China’s Christians Wish They Were in Prison,” by Paul Hattaway, director of the mission organization Asia Harvest, contains accounts of Christians being deceived, kidnapped, brainwashed, beaten, poisoned, and blackmailed by the cult. One worker in northwest China told Hattaway that the Chinese house churches that usually experience phenomenal growth had been declining due to the cult’s activities. He explained, “In the past year many of our leaders were targeted by the Eastern Lightning cult. Some were attracted by their financial inducements and joined them. Later, when they discovered what they’d joined was not biblical, they were not permitted to leave. Dozens of our believers are missing, dozens more crippled. Some who have managed to escape the cult’s clutches are in hiding, fearing for their lives. At least two of our people have been murdered. Others have simply vanished.”

In April 2002, Eastern Lightning members kidnapped 34 leaders of the China Gospel Fellowship, a network of house churches. Cult members posing as representatives of Haggai Institute, a leadership training school in China, lured the leaders to attend a seminar where they were separated and held against their will. One woman managed to escape and alert the police. By June all the others had escaped or were released, although some who were drugged while being held captive continued to suffer physically.

Invisible Lightning. There are a several versions of the cult’s history. A number of Christian organizations cite the Time magazine article and the seven secret security documents that say that the cult was founded in 1989 by a man named Zhao Weishan, a former member of a Christian sect called the Shouters. Weishan proclaimed that Jesus had returned in the form of a 30-year-old, plain-looking Chinese peasant woman named Deng from the province of Henan. This teaching is based on revelation that Weishan claims he received from God regarding Matthew 24:27. Asia Harvest reports that in 2000 Weishan was granted refugee status in the United States, where he continues to run the cult’s activities in China. The report does not cite the source of this information.

Reports from other missions organizations do not mention Weishan as the founder but say, rather, that the woman Deng set herself up as the “female Christ.” Several Chinese Christians who regularly visit the mainland and are familiar with the cult told the Christian Research Journal that although they had heard of Deng, they had not heard of Weishan. Chinese sources favor the theory that Deng hides herself, while Weishan runs the cult’s operations.

An article dated January 2004 on one of the cult’s Web sites (www.hidden-advent.org), however, denies as “rumor” the reports that Almighty God’s Church believes in “a woman with the surname Deng who was once possessed by a demon in Zheng Zhou of Henan province.” The article explains, “Actually, the place of birth and location where God became flesh is not in Henan province at all. Furthermore, the surname is not Deng.” The article does not, however, identify someone other than Deng as the Christ; rather, it explains why “the flesh of the Almighty God” could not be demon possessed. The fact that no one has ever seen or photographed the woman they call the “female Christ” makes her identity or even her existence difficult to confirm.

The Second Incarnation. The group believes that the Bible is out-of-date and that those who limit God’s revelation to just the Bible are like the Pharisees who held on to the Old Testament and rejected Christ. Followers are told to give up the truth of the past and build their foundation on the Holy Spirit’s word for today: the writings of the “female Christ,” which are “God’s new word.”

The cult has published numerous books, including The Word Becomes Flesh and The Lightning Comes from the East, and distributed hundreds of thousands of copies in China. Two of the books that are distributed among Chinese churches in America are titled The Holy Spirit Speaks to All the Churches and God’s Work through His Secret Appearing. The content in these books is nearly identical. Much of it is written in first person, as if by their “female Christ,” and is terse and threatening.

The “female Christ” states that Jesus was God’s first incarnation, but that He did not complete His work; therefore, God needed to come again to finish the work, this time as a woman. This “appearing” ends the previous age and begins a new age in God’s six-thousand-year plan to save all humanity.

God’s plan, she says, has three ages (creation, salvation, and destruction) and three dispensations (law, redemption, and kingdom). She claims that she comes for the kingdom dispensation and therefore her work is judgment.

Her books are filled with explicit and horrific pronouncements of damnation and judgment on unbelievers. The only sin is not to accept her as the Christ, she says, and salvation is possible only by following her. She states that “God is inhumanly cruel” and she admits that she hates humankind.

She teaches that Christ died for our sins, but denies that He rose again physically. She ardently opposes the concept of the second coming of Jesus and tells followers not to wait for a “white cloud descension.”

The “female Christ” doesn’t prove her divinity to potential believers by healing the sick, casting out demons, or performing miracles; instead, she uses threats and intimidation to persuade converts. She says that she will punish or slay those who repudiate her, and even their family members will meet with misfortune. Another of the cult’s Web sites (www.godword.org) lists 887 cases in which people allegedly died of sickness, accident, or unknown causes after rejecting the cult’s evangelistic efforts.

The cult demands complete obedience and sacrifice. Adherents must turn their material possessions over to the organization and follow orders, otherwise they will be punished. They are urged to leave their families, to live in a commune, and to spread the message of the “female Christ.”

Spying and Paving the Way. The cult is known for its deceptive evangelization practices. An article in Tianfeng, the magazine of the Chinese government–controlled Three Self Patriotic Church, says the cult entices people with money or gifts, but will turn to violence or even murder if a person accepts their gifts but fails to join.

A report from China for Jesus describes four stages of strategy that the cult has used. The first stage was simply to send books and money to Christian preachers. In the second stage they adopted aggressive tactics, including violence and coercion. In the third stage they used sexual temptation and entrapment as a means of blackmailing prospects.

The fourth stage is called “spying and paving the way,” the name the cult gives to their process of infiltrating a house church. Followers are instructed to mingle with church members in order to identify those who are strong Christians and core members of the church. Likely targets are those who arrive before a church meeting and stay after, and who can look up Bible passages efficiently. Cult members will try to befriend such people and to act like sincere truth seekers in order to gain their trust. Once the infiltrators have successfully “spied” these people, they begin to “pave the way” by asking questions to shake the Christian believer’s faith. They may invite the believer to a “Bible study,” for example, where instead of studying the Bible they badger the believer with questions such as, “Where is heaven? Is it on earth?” Or they will question the concept of the rapture of the church, a doctrine the cult ardently denies. Ultimately, they turn to preaching their message, which is the second incarnation of God. The author of the China for Jesus report predicted that they will begin to use an unknown fifth strategy now that this latest one has been exposed in recent years.

The cult denies that Almighty God’s Church kidnaps people and forces them to accept its message. An article on one of their Web sites (www.hidden-advent.org) states that regulations instruct followers not to pressure those who are not willing to believe in God, because the church doesn’t want “worthless” members who do not really believe. The article claims that in 1999 alone the church dismissed 70 to 80 thousand people “who were guilty of misconduct and disobedience to the church’s regulations.”

Eastern Lightning prefers to target orthodox Christian house churches rather than fringe or heretical groups. According to the cult’s own internal instructions, they are not to evangelize those who do not worship Jesus alone and do not study the Bible, such as Buddhists, Taoists, and Muslims, as well as many Eastern Orthodox and Roman Catholics in China. Non-Christians and even family members of Eastern Lightning followers are also excluded from being evangelized.

Church of Almighty God

Church of Almighty God

A book about heresies in mainland China, published in Taiwan by the Christian and China Research Center, contains the testimony of a Chinese house church member who escaped the cult. He says that the cult never acts in the open, but that their activities are always covert and organized. “Wherever they go, they destroy and scatter that church with incredible speed and unmatched means.”

Even though the central Chinese government denounces the cult, some Chinese Christians view the cult’s behavior and financial strength as indications that it is being supported by individual local Communist officials who are seeking to disrupt and destroy house churches. Other Chinese Christians see the cult as satanic and believe that the Satanic church in America is behind it.

Global Vision. The message of the “female Christ” of Eastern Lightning resembles that of Rev. Sun Myung Moon of the Unification Church. Moon came to America in 1971 claiming that Christ had not completed His mission, and in 1992 he declared he and his wife to be the Messiah, the True Parents, who would usher in a “Completed Testament” age of world peace.

The “female Christ” declares that her appearance as the new Messiah ushers in the last stage of God’s plan. On one of the cult’s Web sites (www.hidden-advent.org) she confirms that its work has already expanded beyond the borders of China: “At the present time, the work is one of conquering the deeply corrupt people in the nations. Moreover, it is not merely a work of guiding people in China, but one of guiding the entire universe. You now only see the work being done in China, but actually it has already started to extend overseas.”

In a 2001 article titled “Lightning from the East” in the China Insight Newsletter, researcher Tony Lambert reported that the cult now has centers in New York and Toronto. The Journal has received reports from Christians in Paris and Amsterdam that the cult has reached Europe as well. Sources in the West have reported that the cult has been distributing books, tracts, and CDs through the Internet and in the parking lots of Chinese churches. It has also advertised a paid position to translate their books into English.

PLAY BALL! Both Mexico And Canada Say They’re Willing To Redo NAFTA With President Donald Trump

How refreshing is it to have a president who actually wants America to succeed

Mexico says ready to ‘modernize’ NAFTA with Trump

Donald Trump criticized the North American Free Trade Agreement as a U.S. job killer, saying he would be willing to scrap the pact if Canada and Mexico were unwilling to budge. But lo and behold, guess what? Turns out no threats needed as both Mexico and Canada are voluntarily coming to the table right now.

Ahh, this is the America I know and love so much. Strong, compassionate and putting America and it’s people first. Thank you, president Trump, what an awesome 4 years it’s going to be.

North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA)

North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA)

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said Thursday he is willing to renegotiate the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), which US President-elect Donald Trump has said he wants to change or scrap.

During the campaign, Trump called NAFTA the worst trade deal the United States has ever signed, while proposing protectionist measures to repatriate American jobs lost to free trade.

Donald Trump’s 7-point trade plan: No TPP, renegotiate NAFTA:

“I think it’s important that we be open to talking about trade deals,” Trudeau — a fierce defender of free trade, which helps bolster the Canadian economy — told reporters.

“If the Americans want to talk about NAFTA, I’m more than happy to talk about it,” he said, adding that it was important to periodically reassess trade deals to ensure that they continue to be of benefit to Canadians.

Trump wants to rip apart NAFTA:

Mexico is willing to “modernize” the North American Free Trade Agreement with U.S. President-elect Donald Trump’s incoming administration and Canada, but will not renegotiate the pact, the foreign minister said.

Donald Trump

Foreign Minister Claudia Ruiz Massieu said NAFTA has “yielded great results” for the three nations, but that there is an opportunity to make it “more beneficial” to all.

“We are willing to talk about this with the new government and with Canada as well,” Ruiz Massieu told CNN late Wednesday.

Woman marches through Target blasting transgender bathroom policy

A video of a woman parading around a Target store with a Bible protesting the retail company’s transgender bathroom policy has gone viral.

Fox 8 Cleveland reported Tuesday the unidentified woman in the You tube video is carrying a Bible through the store and yelling, “America, when are you going to wake up? It’s time to take a stand and have a voice.”

The woman, who said she’s a mother of 12, called Target’s bathroom policy a “wicked practice” and said she wouldn’t shop there. Some people begin to walk out of the store during the two-minute video.

It’s unclear which Target the woman is walking through. The clip was posted on Saturday and has already garnered nearly 300,000 views.

Target released a statement late last month that took aim at the so-called “bathroom laws” seeking to restrict men’s and women’s bathrooms to the sex listed on a person’s birth certificate.

“In our stores, we demonstrate our commitment to an inclusive experience in many ways,” the statement said. “Most relevant for the conversations currently under way, we welcome transgender team members and guests to use the restroom or fitting room facility that corresponds with their gender identity.”

Target’s policy is not new, but is simply a more pronounced “restatement” of an existing corporate rule, Target spokeswoman Molly Snyder told the Minneapolis Star Tribune in April.

The bathroom question turned into a national debate after North Carolina enacted legislation in March to restrict who could and could not use men’s and women’s bathrooms. Proponents of the law believe it’s needed to keep potential sexual predators out of the bathroom of the opposite sex. Opponents say it’s insensitive to transgender people, who don’t identify with the gender on their birth certificate.

Target, Use the Restroom that Matches your Gender IdentityThe law gained even more notoriety after several music acts, such as Pearl Jam, Bruce Springsteen and Ringo Starr, canceled concerts in the state in response to the legislation.

Deuteronomy 22:5 – “A woman shall not wear a man’s garment, nor shall a man put on a woman’s cloak, for whoever does these things is an abomination to the LORD your God.” God is going to judge America the same way he judged Sodom and Gomorrah. No nation that has embraced the LGBT agenda has ever persevered since the beginning of the world. God’s wrath will be poured out shortly. We are surely living in the end times. Repent now while you still can. God is patient and merciful so long as his people reside on our world today. Genesis 18:26 – “And the LORD said, “If I find at Sodom fifty righteous in the city, I will spare the whole place for their sake.”

US President Barack Obama Marks ‘Homophobia and Transphobia Day’ As Bathroom Bill Furor Builds

I am proud that my Administration has made advancing the human rights of LGBT individuals a specific focus of our engagement around the world

“For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet.” Romans 1:26,23 (KJV)

Barack Obama, in his official statement today glorifying the transgender lifestyle, said that he was “proud of the work” his administration had done making “LGBT rights a specific focus” of his presidency. He said this while governors across America are rebelling against his push to allow transgender men in the same rest room as ten year old little girls.

The Obama Administration sent a letter, through the Departments of Education and Justice, to schools nationwide that mandates the institutions create bathroom policies that support transgender students. The guidelines are meant to ensure that “transgender students enjoy a supportive and non-discriminatory school environment,” the Obama administration said.

Today he spoke out in support of transgenders around the world.

Statement by the President on the International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia

This is what Obama had to say today about advancing advocacy for transgender and homosexual people:

On May 17, Americans and people around the world mark the International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia by reaffirming the dignity and inherent worth of all people, regardless of who they love or their gender identity.

Our nation is committed to the principle that all people should be treated fairly and with respect. Advancing this goal has long been a cornerstone of American diplomacy, and I am proud that my Administration has made advancing the human rights of LGBT individuals a specific focus of our engagement around the world. I am also proud of the great strides that our nation has made at home in recent years, including that we now have marriage equality as a result of last year’s landmark Supreme Court decision.

At the same time, there is much work to be done to combat homophobia and transphobia, both at home and abroad.‎ In too many places, LGBT individuals grow up forced to conceal or deny who they truly are for fear of persecution, discrimination, and violence. All nations and all communities can, and must, do better. Fortunately, human rights champions and good citizens around the world continue to strive towards this goal every day by lifting up the simple truth that LGBT rights are human rights. The United States honors their work and will continue to support them in their struggle for human dignity.

If being transgender is now considered a human right, then where does it end? When people want to have sex with animals will that become a human right? Does the North American Man Boy Love Association qualify for protection under Obama’s madness? If ‘all love is love’, as Obama and the LGBT Mafia keep telling us, then NAMBLA should absolutely come under Federal protection.

The bottom of this pit runs very deep, and it ends in Hell. At least one person has told the truth to people, we need to help as we can as well!

One last word, it is now LGBTQ How many more of the alphabet is going to be added until people wake up and say; ‘Wait what happened, This is Not Right?’

That day will never come, Sorry to say, most people won’t even read this far because they don’t care! Jesus come soon!

Donald Trump Tells Liberty University That ‘Christianity Is Under Siege’

GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump touted his faith at Liberty University on Monday, telling the conservative college that Christians have to ban together because their religion “is under siege.”

“Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.”2 Corinthians 3:17 (KJV)

“We’re going to protect Christianity,” he said. “If you look at what’s going on throughout the world…Christianity is under siege.” Trump pointed to targeting of Christians by terrorist groups in Syria and urged Christians to work together to use their “power” within the United States to enact change.

He added that “I’m a Protestant. I’m very proud of it, Presbyterian to be exact. …[but] bad things are happening, very bad things are happening.”  The speech comes on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, and Trump dedicated what he called a record-breaking crowd to the late civil rights leader.
The speech could give Trump a chance to strengthen his outreach to evangelical voters, whom he said he’s doing “great with” in Iowa. He noted that he’s heading to the early-voting state, as well as New Hampshire, after his speech on Monday.
“I want to win Iowa,” he said. “Then we’re just going to clean the table.” Trump is narrowly leading in Iowa ahead of the state’s Feb. 1 caucus, according to Real Clear Politics poll tracking.
Trump got a warm introduction from Jerry Falwell Jr., the president of Liberty. While he noted the college doesn’t endorse presidential candidates, Falwell said that Trump is a “breath of fresh air,” “loves this country” and wants “more than anything to make America great again.”
He added that if he’s elected president “you’re going to see Merry Christmas in department stores. …I have friends who aren’t Christian — they like to say Merry Christmas.”
Starbucks was the latest store to spark anger from evangelicals, who argued that the company’s largely blank red holiday cup was part of a war against Christmas.

Farrakhan-WHATSHOTN

Over the past 5 years, Obama has never one time refuted any claims or comments made about him being the liberal savior.

#6 From Obama’s book, The Audacity of Hope: “I am not willing to have the state deny American citizens a civil union that confers equivalent rights on such basic matters as hospital visitation or health insurance coverage simply because the people they love are of the same sex—nor am I willing to accept a reading of the Bible that considers an obscure line in Romans to be more defining of Christianity than the Sermon on the Mount.”

#7 Obama’s response when asked what his definition of sin is: “Being out of alignment with my values.”

#8 “If all it took was someone proclaiming I believe Jesus Christ and that he died for my sins, and that was all there was to it, people wouldn’t have to keep coming to church, would they.”

#9 “This is something that I’m sure I’d have serious debates with my fellow Christians about. I think that the difficult thing about any religion, including Christianity, is that at some level there is a call to evangelize and prostelytize. There’s the belief, certainly in some quarters, that people haven’t embraced Jesus Christ as their personal savior that they’re going to hell.”

#10 “I find it hard to believe that my God would consign four-fifths of the world to hell.  I can’t imagine that my God would allow some little Hindu kid in India who never interacts with the Christian faith to somehow burn for all eternity.  That’s just not part of my religious makeup.”

#11 “I don’t presume to have knowledge of what happens after I die. But I feel very strongly that whether the reward is in the here and now or in the hereafter, the aligning myself to my faith and my values is a good thing.”

I joined Fox & Friends this morning to discuss my decision to request the federal government cease sending Syrian refugees to NC. Watch:

WE Thank you, Governor Pat McCrory, wisdom is giving to the wise.

#12 “I’ve said this before, and I know this raises questions in the minds of some evangelicals. I do not believe that my mother, who never formally embraced Christianity as far as I know … I do not believe she went to hell.”

#13 “Those opposed to abortion cannot simply invoke God’s will–they have to explain why abortion violates some principle that is accessible to people of all faiths.”

#14 On his support for civil unions for gay couples: “If people find that controversial then I would just refer them to the Sermon on the Mount.”

#15 “You got into these small towns in Pennsylvania and, like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing’s replaced them. And they fell through the Clinton Administration, and the Bush Administration, and each successive administration has said that somehow these communities are gonna regenerate and they have not. And it’s not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.”

#16 “In our household, the Bible, the Koran and the Bhagavad Gita sat on the shelf alongside books of Greek and Norse and African mythology”

#20 “I believe that there are many paths to the same place, and that is a belief that there is a higher power, a belief that we are connected as a people.”
