Dispensational Premillennialism and Historic Premillennialism

Dispensational Premillennialism and Historic Premillennialism are two very different systems of eschatology. Here are just a few examples of the many differences between the two:

• Historic premillennialism taught that the church was in the fore-vision of Old Testament prophecy, while dispensationalism teaches that the church is hardly, if at all, mentioned by the Old Testament prophets.
• Historic premillennialism taught that the present age of grace was designed by God and predicted in the Old Testament. Dispensationalism holds that the present age was unforeseen in the Old Testament and thus is a “great parenthesis” introduced because the Jews rejected the kingdom.
• Historic premillennialism taught that one may divide time in any way desirable so long as one allows for a millennium after the second advent. Dispensationalism maintains that the only allowable way to divide time is into seven dispensations. The present age is the sixth such dispensation; the last one will be the millennial age after the second coming. It is from this division of time that dispensationalism gets its name.

As a result, the premillennial theory of the end times is advanced in several different ways. Frankly, it is not an easy task to generalize regarding this system of doctrine. So, for the purposes of this article we will focus mainly on that branch of millennialism that is known as historic premillennialism. However, in looking at historic premillennialism, it’s helpful to understand that this term is one of many that pertain to the study of eschatology, i.e., the study of the end of history from a Christian perspective. The Bible references many prophecies about the future with the New Testament speaking extensively about the return of Jesus to this earth. The 24th chapter of Matthew, much of the book of Revelation, and 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 are the more salient references to the second advent of Jesus.

There are a host of various interpretations regarding the second coming, both symbolic and literal. A literal interpretation of the Bible shows that four important events are predicted: the Millennium, the Tribulation, the Armageddon, and the Rapture. Nevertheless, biblical passages predicting the future are ambiguous with the events themselves being open to many interpretations. As a result, there is no clear indication of either their timing or sequence. For example, some Christians believe that “millennium” does not mean a time interval of exactly 1,000 years. Rather, it refers to a long period of time. Then others interpret these events as descriptions of real happenings in our future, while still others interpret them symbolically and/or as events that have already occurred.

This leaves the passages open to many conflicting beliefs about the end times. A lot of intra-denominational and inter-denominational strife has resulted from disagreements about end-times prophecy. For example, the Roman Catholic Church and most mainline and liberal denominations do not expect that a Rapture will occur in the way anticipated by many fundamentalist and other evangelical faith groups.

All this, then, brings us to historic premillennialism. Historic premillennialism was held by a large majority of Christians during the first three centuries of the Christian era. It draws its name from the fact that many of the early Church fathers such as Ireneaus, Papias, Justin Martyr, Tertullian, Hippolytus, and others taught that there would be a visible kingdom of God upon the earth after the return of Christ. It taught that the Antichrist first appears on earth and the seven-year Tribulation begins. Next comes the Rapture when Jesus and His Church return to earth to rule for a Millennium. The faithful then will spend eternity in the New Jerusalem, a gigantic cubical structure, some 1,380 miles in height, width and depth, which will have descended to Earth.

The New Jerusalem is also known as the Celestial City, the City of God, the Heavenly Jerusalem, the Holy City, the Shining City on a Hill, the Tabernacle of God, Zion, and so on. It is then that the forces of evil will have been conquered. The faithful will live during this thousand-year period of peace in Jerusalem, while occupying spiritual bodies. After this period, all people are judged.

When Christianity became the official religion of Rome in the fourth century, many things began to change, including acceptance of historic premillennialism. Amillennialism soon became the prevailing doctrine of the Roman Catholic Church.

One of the most influential historic premillennialist works is that of George Eldon Ladd, who was an evangelical New Testament scholar and professor of New Testament exegesis and theology at Fuller Theological Seminary. Ladd was recognized for his enormous appreciation of the redemptive-historic significance of the first coming of the Christ. It was through his work that historic premillennialism gained scholarly respect and popularity among evangelical and Reformed theologians. Other well-known historic premillennialists include ministers and scholars such as Walter Martin; John Warwick Montgomery; J. Barton Payne; Henry Alford, a noted Greek scholar; and Theodor Zahn, a German New Testament scholar.

Various Protestant denominations and other church organizations promote one of many systems of prophecy concerning the end times, of which historic premillennialism is one. Additionally, as we’ve seen, there is the dispensational premillennialism. All of the theories that have been proposed about the timing of the Rapture appear to contradict some passages in the Bible. Current beliefs include the pre-tribulation Rapture, the post-tribulation Rapture, the mid-tribulation Rapture, the pre-wrath Rapture, and a partial Rapture. Generally, all of the premillennialist beliefs mentioned teach that the Tribulation is followed by 1,000 years of peace when all live under the authority of Christ. Afterwards, in a brief, final battle, Satan is permanently conquered.

Selah, The Coming Psalm 83 War And The Role Of Jordan In End Times Bible Prophecy

It’s starting to look like Jordan is about to rise as a powerful end times player in the new Trump Era of Middle east relations.

“For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head. They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones. They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.” Psalm 83:2-4 (KJV)

In the end times war mentioned in the Bible, we of course read about the Battle of Armageddon mentioned in Ezekiel 39 that takes place at the end of the time of Jacob’s trouble, and the Battle of Gog and Magog that happens after the 1,000 Reign of Jesus Christ in Jerusalem. But there is another war mentioned, connected to the time of Jacob’s trouble, that would appear to be separate from either of these two wars, the Psalm 83 War.

In our article entitledThe Real Meaning Of The Word Selah In The Bible“, we showed you that Selah was an actual place in the Bible that today is known simply as Petra in Jordan. Until the early 1800’s, that region was known by it’s full name of Selah Petra, which can be seen on old hand-drawn maps from that time. So everywhere in the Bible where you see the word ‘Selah’, it is invariably a reference to the coming time of Jacob’s trouble. In the King James Bible, Selah appears 75 times. In the NIV “bible” they have removed the word completely. Hmm, I wonder why?

An article on jpost.com talks about the role that Jordan might play in resolving the status of a Palestinian state:

The inauguration of an American administration uncommitted to the principle of an independent Palestinian state provides Israel with the opportunity to advocate a long-term strategic vision of building up a prosperous Jordan that could provide an alternative to the model of a two-state solution based on the Palestinian Authority. Such a vision will not only attenuate the Israeli-Palestinian conflict but, equally importantly, it will bolster a Jordan whose importance to regional stability has never been so crucial.

It’s starting to look like Jordan is about to rise as a powerful end times player in the new Trump Era of Middle east relations. Indeed, as we have shown you time and again, Donald Trump was elected by God for just this purpose, to bring out amazing change and upheaval in the Middle East leading to the fulfillment of Bible prophecy.

Let’s identify the players in the coming Psalm 83 War:

  • Edom, Moab and Ammon: These three kingdom cities were located in Jordan, to the south of Israel.
  • Tyre and Gebal: Tyre was a major city in Lebanon, located to the north of Israel.
  • Assur: First capital city of Assyria, which was located to the east of Israel.
  • The Hagarenes: Descendants of the Hagar and connected to the people of Ishmael, located near the Persian Gulf.
  • The Philistines: Israel’s ancient enemy settled in Canaan, today they are known as the Palestinians and still trying to take over the land.

It’s interesting to note that in 2017, Israel is surrounded by every one of these nations and peoples mentioned in Psalm 83, as we have just shown you, easily identifiable by their ethnicity. Jordan in the Bible was a place where many important events occurred. John the Baptist baptized Jesus in the Jordan river, most likely on the east side. John would later be beheaded by Herod at the fortress located in Jordan. And Jordan will be the place, in Selah Petra, where the Jews will be miraculously protected and preserved from the Antichrist by God for a three and a half year period.

“Send ye the lamb to the ruler of the land from Sela to the wilderness, unto the mount of the daughter of Zion. For it shall be, that, as a wandering bird cast out of the nest,so the daughters of Moab shall be at the fords of Arnon. Take counsel, execute judgment; make thy shadow as the night in the midst of the noonday; hide the outcasts; bewray not him that wandereth. Let mine outcasts dwell with thee, Moab; be thou a covert to them from the face of the spoiler: for the extortioner is at an end, the spoiler ceaseth, the oppressors are consumed out of the land. And in mercy shall the throne be established: and he shall sit upon it in truth in the tabernacle of David, judging, and seeking judgment, and hasting righteousness.” Isaiah 16:1-5 (KJV)

But what’s coming next is a major attack on Israel that looks for all the world like it will originate from Jordan.

On My Way Back to the White House

It is our contention here at WHATSHOTN that the Psalm 83 War will be triggered when Donald Trump authorizes the moving of the U.S. Embassy from its current location in Tel Aviv to the Old City of Jerusalem. A senior Palestinian official said that the move would be a ‘declaration of war’:

A senior Palestinian official warned Sunday that a move by the Trump administration to relocate the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem would be perceived as an act of aggression against the entire Muslim world. “In our opinion moving the embassy to Jerusalem is a declaration of war against Muslims,” Fatah Central Committee member Jibril Rajoub, who also presides over the Palestinian soccer association, told The Times of Israel in an interview.

Jordan looms large in coming Bible prophecy, and as the Trump administration plans to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, things will get explosive very quickly. I would even go so far as to say that the confederacy mentioned in Psalm 83 is being formed at this very moment.

“Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this that is glorious in his apparel, travelling in the greatness of his strength? I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save..” Isaiah 63:1 (KJV)

Are YOU ready for what comes next?

Are we Living in the End Times

It has been said, ‘things have always been bad haven’t they? All through history are horrible stories of man’s ability to preform evil acts against others. In this day and age we are able to hear more about these things and much quicker. Our world has been in bad times from the beginning, I would say from the time Adam took the first bite from forbidden fruit. Jesus spoke of it two thousands years or so ago and I agree, we have been in the end times since then and no one knows when that will be except, The Almighty God.’ and some have said, ‘I think the end times began as soon as they were mentioned in the New Testament. Everyone who has lived since then until now, and in the future, is living in the End Times.
We think the world is bad now, and it is going wrongful. But I believe it can and might get a lot worse. Think of what it may be like in a 100 years from now. Things are just going to keep on getting worse because the Bible says so. But what we are seeing could be mild compared to what we can’t even fathom 100 or more years from now.  So, the End Times have been going on for 2,000 years.’

But is that what the Bible says? The Bible prophesies of many events that will occur in the end times. These events can be categorized as natural signs, spiritual signs, sociological signs, technological signs, and political signs. We can look to what the Bible says about these things, and if the signs are present in abundance, we can be certain that we are, in fact, living in the end times.

Luke 21:11 lists some of the natural signs that will occur before Jesus’ Second Coming: “There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven.” In 13 years, between 1991 and 2004, the United States alone has experienced 5 of its costliest hurricanes in history, 3 of its 4 largest tornado swarms in history, and 9 of the 10 greatest disasters as determined by FEMA. We have recently seen Hurricane Sandy, which some have called the “perfect storm.” There is a huge upswing in the prevalence of sinkholes. As for great signs from heaven, we’ve seen the Chelyabinsk meteor, which exploded over Russia, emitting a powerful shock wave. All of these events seem to be a warm up to what is coming next “birth pangs,” as Jesus called them (Matthew 24:8).

The Bible lists both positive and negative spiritual signs. In 2 Timothy 4:3-4 we discover that many people will follow false teachers. We see now an increase in cultic groups, heresy, deception and occultism, with many choosing to follow new age or pagan religions. On the positive side, Joel 2:28-29 prophesies that there will be a great outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Joel’s prophecy was fulfilled on the Day of Pentecost (Acts 2:16), and we are still seeing the effects of that outpouring in revivals and Spirit-led Christian movements, worldwide preaching of the gospel message, and the emergence of Messianic Judaism.

Along with the signs in the natural and spiritual realms, there are signs in society. The immorality rampant in society today is a symptom of mankind’s rebellion against God. Abortion, homosexuality, drug abuse and child molestation are proof that “evildoers and impostors will go from bad to worse” (2 Timothy 3:13). We are now living in a hedonistic and materialistic society. People are lovers of themselves  “looking out for number one”  and doing what is right in their own eyes. All these things, and many more, can be seen around us every day (see 2 Timothy 3:1-4).

The fulfillment of some end time prophecies seemed impossible until the advent of modern technology. Daniel 12:4 foretold an increase in knowledge. Most are just going to answer the question the title asks without reading the post. When people ‘think’ they have ‘ultimate knowledge’ already instead of continually learning of the Mater’s heart! Some of the judgments in Revelation are more easily imagined in a nuclear age. In Revelation 13; the Antichrist will control commerce by forcing people to take the mark of the beast, and, given today’s advances in computer chip technology, the tools he will use may very well be here already. And through the internet, radio and television, the gospel can now be proclaimed to the entire world (Mark 13:10). WHATSHOTN alone reaches just about every county in the world!

And there are political signs. The restoration of Israel to her land in 1948 is the single most impressive fulfilled prophecy proving that we live in the end times. At the turn of the 20th century, no one would have dreamed that Israel would be back in her land, let alone occupying Jerusalem. Jerusalem is definitely at the center of geopolitics and stands alone against many enemies; Zechariah 12:3 confirms this: “On that day, when all the nations of the earth are gathered against her, I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock for all the nations. All who try to move it will injure themselves.” Matthew 24:6-7 predicted that “nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.” “Wars and rumors of wars” are definitely characteristic of this present age.

Walk to Him

These are just a few of the signs that we are living in the end of the age. There are many more. God gave us these prophecies because He does not want anyone to perish, and He always gives ample warning before pouring out His wrath (2 Peter 3:9).

Are we living in the end times? The rapture could occur at any moment. God will deal with sin either by grace or by wrath. John 3:36 says, “Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them.” Those who do not accept Jesus Christ as their savior will remain under the Lord’s wrath.

The good news is that it’s not too late to choose eternal life. All that is required is acceptance, by faith, of God’s free gift of grace. There is nothing you can do to earn grace; Jesus has paid the price for you (Romans 3:24). Are you ready for the Lord’s return? Or will you experience His wrath?

The Hidden References To The Mark of The Beast Found In The Book Of James

James is speaking prophetically when he is describing the wealth they sold their souls for.

“Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days.”James 5:1-3 (KJV)

In the Bible, there are 3 books that we understand to be “transitional books”, and they are Matthew, Acts and Hebrews. Matthew bridges the transition from the Old to New Testament, Acts transitions from the Kingdom age to Church Age, and Hebrews from the Church Age to the time of Jacob’s trouble otherwise known as the Great Tribulation. For the born again Christian in the Church Age, our doctrine is found in the Pauline epistles. But for the Tribulation saints, their doctrine will be found in Hebrews, James, Peter, Jude and Revelation. These books deal extensively with people, namely the Jews, in the time of Jacob’s trouble.

The book of James has a lot to say about rich people, and it’s not good.

James, throughout his book, takes rich people to task and shows them no mercy as you can see here:

  • “Let the brother of low degree rejoice in that he is exalted: But the rich, in that he is made low: because as the flower of the grass he shall pass away.” James 1:9,10 (KJV)
  • “Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him? But ye have despised the poor. Do not rich men oppress you, and draw you before the judgment seats?” James 2:5,6 (KJV)
  • “Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain: Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.” James 4:13,14 (KJV)
  • “Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you. Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are motheaten. Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days.” James 5:1-3 (KJV)

No sir, the Holy Spirit speaking through James is not happy with rich people one little bit, as you can obviously see. He shows them no mercy, and uses them as an example of how not to live your life. Why would He do that? There are lots of people in the Bible God made wealthy. It was a Joseph of Arimathea, a rich man, who provided the brand new, unused tomb for Jesus after the crucifixion. So why be so hard on rich people here?

A quick application of 2 Timothy 2:15 (KJV) reveals the prophetical weight of what James is really trying to draw our attention to.

Mark of the Beast

The Mark of the Beast in the time of Jacob’s trouble.

“And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.” Revelation 13:16,17 (KJV)

The Internet is filled with various thoughts and opinion on what the Mark of the Beast will be when the Antichrist arrives. But Bible believes don’t waste time on speculating of what it is, we already know what it is. It is a mark, inserted in the back of the right hand or in the forehead, that will control all buying and selling. Case closed. We live in a cyber world run by massive computers connected by the Internet, so it stands to reason it will be a digital chip of some kind. But whatever form it finally takes it will control all financial transactions. Every, single one of them.

Take a quick look in the mirror, has the little lightbulb of revelation suddenly popped up over your head? Do you see now why James, a book written primarily to Jews in the Tribulation (James 1:1), is soooooooo against rich people? Has it dawned on you yet?

Because in the time of Jacob’s trouble, the only people who will be counted among the rich people will be the ones who agree to worship the Antichrist and receive his mark. Every person in that time who refuses the Mark will be poor. Guaranteed. Why? Because they will have no access to any bank accounts, credit or debit cards, or anything else that will allow them to make a financial transaction. Cash undoubtedly will have been done away with at the time.

WAITING FOR THE MARK: DIGITAL IMPLANTS ARE BECOMING BIG BUSINESS AS BIOHACKER GROUPS GROW

James is speaking prophetically when he is describing the wealth they sold their souls for. He refers to their money, obtained by the Mark of the Beast, as wealth that is “cankered”, “corrupted”, and “moth eaten”. He further says that their money has now become a “witness against them”.  Wow, that’s really harsh language right? Wrong. It’s a factual description because in the time of Jacob’s trouble there is no eternal security, you are saved by faith + works and not by faith alone. It is the Church Age that has that promise (Ephesians 1:12-14 KJV), no other dispensation has it. And taking the Mark of the Beast (for any reason) is a sin that God will not forgive at all. Read it for yourselves:

“And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.” Revelation 14:9-11 (KJV)

You take that Mark, you are eternally done. No forgiveness. James is not giving a few lines on “rich versus poor” and all that nonsense. James is warning the people who find themselves in the time of Jacob’s trouble that you will be a whole lot better off letting your babies starve to death than taking the Mark in order to have money to buy your family food.

Do you see it now?

This is also another one of our many Bible proofs for the Pretribulation Rapture of the Church. The Church cannot be in the Tribulation because we have eternal security. If a Christian took the Mark, what would happen? Answer, a Christian cannot take the Mark (though undoubtedly many weak, baby Christians would) because we are removed in the Rapture before the start of the time of Jacob’s trouble.

MARK OF THE MOUSE? Walt Disney Company Files Patent To Track Park Guests Through Their Feet

The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has issued Walt Disney Co. a patent for a new type of technology: A system that can track theme-park guests through their feet.

“And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.” Revelation 13:16,17 (KJV)

EDITOR’S NOTE: For a place that bills itself as the “happiest place on Earth”, they sure have been up to some fairly dark, behind-the-scenes, end times skullduggery. The Walt Disney corporation has so far spent over one billion dollars to create technology to invasively track their mostly unsuspecting park guests.

Patent for Disney Enterprises Inc.

The company says that there are no immediate plans to use such a system. This project is part of Disney’s ongoing innovative research process, the company said, and many projects it explores may never actually end up in the parks.

Disney Tracking Park Visitors With RFID Microchips:

According to information supplied to the patent agency, sensors and cameras would help identify particular visitors, and the data “can be used to output a customized guest experience” including photographs. Theme parks could also use such a system to mine data about common paths from ride to ride.

The company can already track guests at Walt Disney World who use MagicBands, RFID bracelets that function as theme-park tickets, FastPasses, hotel keys and credit cards.

Current methods of tracking guests and matching them up “are limited to rather invasive methods, such as retinal and fingerprint identification methods,” the patent information said. “These methods are obtrusive and some guests may not feel comfortable providing this type of bio-metric information to a third party.”

BREAKING: ‘Left Behind’ Author Tim LaHaye Dead at 90

‘Left Behind’ Author Tim LaHaye Went Home To Be With The Lord Today

Author, pastor and prophet Tim LaHaye died of a stroke on Monday. He was 90.

EDITOR’S NOTE: While their interpretation of Bible doctrine was not as sharp as it could have been, Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins were used of God to deliver a great gift to this world of ours. They made everyone think on, meditate on, debate on and argue over the Bible doctrine of the Pretribulation Rapture of the Church of Jesus Christ. The Rapture is known as the ‘Blessed Hope’ in the Bible, and it is coming soon to a redeemed soul near you!

“Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;” Titus 2:13 (KJV)

Tim LahayeTim LaHaye was perhaps best known for his Left Behind end times series with co-author Jerry B. Jenkins.

“Thrilled as I am that he is where he has always wanted to be, his departure leaves a void in my soul I don’t expect to fill until I see him again,” Jenkins said. “The Tim LaHaye I got to know had a pastor’s heart and lived to share his faith. He listened to and cared about everyone, regardless of age, gender, or social standing. If Tim was missing from the autograph table or the green room of a network television show, he was likely in a corner praying with someone he’d just met—from a reader to a part-time bookstore stock clerk to a TV network anchorman.”

SOON-TO-BE BLESSED HOPE

CLICK IMAGE TO READ ALL ABOUT OUR SOON-TO-BE BLESSED HOPE

LaHaye spent almost 70 years in the pulpit. He wrote more than 60 nonfiction books, including tomes on prophecy.   He led multiple churches, including Shadow Mountain, which is now pastored by David Jeremiah.

“For 35 of those years I have been his pastor. From the very beginning, he has encouraged me, and I have honored him,” Jeremiah said. “Tim was one of the most godly men I have ever known. Almost every conversation I had with him ended with his praying with me and for me. He wrote me extended letters of appreciation for what God was doing in our church. We shared long lunches together talking about ministry and praying for our nation. When I look back over Tim LaHaye’s life, I am reminded of Paul’s words concerning King David: ‘He served his own generation by the will of God.'”

According to his obituary:

Joining Dr. LaHaye for most of his journey was the former Beverly Ratcliffe, whom he married on July 5, 1947. Mrs. LaHaye—a powerhouse in her own right—founded Concerned Women for America in 1979, the nation’s largest public policy organization for women with 600,000 members.

Their union prompted Time magazine in 2005 to name the LaHayes “The Christian Power Couple.” The proclamation came as the magazine named Dr. LaHaye as one of the 25 most influential evangelicals in America.

Early in his ministerial career, Dr. LaHaye pastored churches in South Carolina and Minnesota before moving his family to California. They settled in San Diego County, where he took the reins of Scott Memorial Baptist Church. Under his 25-year leadership, the congregation expanded to three locations, including what is now Shadow Mountain Community Church in El Cajon.

Dr. LaHaye also founded two accredited Christian high schools, a school system of 10 Christian schools and what is now San Diego Christian College (formerly Christian Heritage College). In 1972 he co-founded the Institute for Creation Research with the late Dr. Henry Morris.

As a couple, the LaHayes hosted a radio show and, later, a TV program called “The LaHayes on Family Life.” In keeping with their faith, the show promoted Christian values.

During the 1970s Dr. LaHaye was instrumental in gathering a coalition of Southern California pastors together to address a progressive agenda that was undermining traditional family values. Also in the ’70s, he encouraged the late Jerry Falwell Sr. to establish the Moral Majority as a way to build a similar coalition nationally. He was also widely credited with garnering evangelical support behind the campaign of George W. Bush.

Besides co-authoring the 16-book “Left Behind” series—which sold more than 80 million copies, topping the best-selling lists of The New York Times, USA Today, Wall Street Journal, Publishers Weekly, and Christian Booksellers Association—LaHaye was a prolific non-fiction author, penning 60 different titles that sold 14 million copies in as many as 32 languages. Topics he explored included family life, temperaments, the biblical view of sex and marriage, Bible prophecy, the will of God, Jesus Christ and secular humanism.

Other ministries he either founded or co-founded include Tim LaHaye Ministries, the PreTrib Research Center and the Tim LaHaye School of Prophecy at Liberty University. He also designed the LaHaye Temperament Analysis, a self-improvement tool that has been used by more than 30,000 people.

LaHaye is survived by his wife Beverly, four children; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; a brother, Richard LaHaye; and a sister, Margaret White.

Mammoth blade-wielding ‘God of War’ statue unveiled in China

KINGS OF THE EAST: China Unveils Massive 190′ High Pagan ‘God Of War’ Statue Guan Yu

China has redefined the concept of ‘statue’ with the unveiling of a colossal 1,320-ton, 58-meter-high statue of legendary general and ‘God of War’ Guan Yu.

“And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.” Revelation 16:12 (KJV)

China, a pagan and Communist nation, is rapidly becoming one of the world’s largest economies and has the largest standing army on earth. The Bible talks about the “kings of the east” marching into Israel to fight the Jews at the Battle of Armageddon. So the fact that they have unveiled a 19 story high statue to the ‘god of war’ is perhaps something students of Bible prophecy might find interesting…to say the least.

The intimidating statue stands in the city of Jingzhou in Hubei province – and you would be well advised not to pick a fight with it. Along with fooling aliens into thinking we’re a world full of warrior giants, the statue is also home to an 8,000-square-meter Guan Yu museum, according to CCTV News.

The general fought to end the reign of the Han dynasty and establish the Shu Han state before he died in 220 CE. In the sixth century he was deified, earning him the very cool title of “God of War”.

A 1,320-ton sculpture of the Chinese god of war “Guan Yu” has been unveiled in Jingzhou city, central China’s Hubei Province. The fearsome bearded warrior stands 58 meters tall and watches over the panorama of the city and its people with a grave and dignified bearing.

Guan Yu lived during a restless period in Chinese history known as the Three Kingdoms, and is celebrated for cutting down enemies using an enormous axe-like weapon called a Green Dragon Crescent Blade.

The brave general has also been deified as a god of wealth and is worshipped by many Chinese people, especially in the southern parts of the country.

He must have been a popular guy, because he has already been immortalized in several statues around the world including in Japan, Taiwan and Vietnam. Surprisingly the latest statue isn’t actually the biggest – that honor goes to his hometown of Changping in the Shanxi province, where Guan Yu dominates the town from a height of 61 meters.

Pensacola, Florida: What the Hell is Going On? City Council Meeting Opened With Satanic Invocation

A city council meeting in Pensacola Florida opened with a satanic invocation on Thursday, July 14th, 2016.

“Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.” John 8:44 (KJV)

satanic invocationAmerica’s days are numbered, and the increasing trend of satanic practice within the US will bring the death of America.

Citing “religious freedom” and acceptance, David Suhor began the invocation; but not without hundreds of protesters. Traditionally the city council meeting starts with Christian prayer, but because the city council was afraid of litigation issues, they bent their knees to satan that day.

Satanic prayer opens City Council meeting in Pensacola Florida:

David Suhor’s mission is to end invocations at public meetings. While Christians get pushed out, “acceptance” leaders are being brought in, and with that comes the deviation from true Christianity.

The truth is Christianity is under fire, and not many Christians are aware of the reality of where America is heading. With churches preaching only love and personal wealth not righteousness, many Christians within America will forsake their faith through their first trial. David Suhor is also in a legal battle to have the twenty-five-foot cross removed from the Bayview Park in Pensacola.

City Council President Mr. Charles Bare stated, “If you deviate away from what I feel is proper invocation speech, I will have you removed from the chamber” showing that the city council was just afraid of a legal issue.

THE DAYS OF NOAH: The $100 Million Dollar Ark Encounter Opens To Worldwide Acclaim

The Ark Encounter and its sister attraction, the Creation Museum, present a biblical view of creation and what the organization describes as “the truth of Scripture.”

“And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.” Luke 17:26,27 (KJV)

The Bible says that in the end times it would be like it was in the ‘days of Noah’, the days of the Nephilim and the days of the Ark. Today, a full-scale rendering of Noah’s Ark, built according to the dimensions given in the Bible, after years of prayer and planning had its ribbon cutting ceremony. Noah’s Ark is once again on the Earth. To say I find that interesting would be a gross understatement.

As visitors bustled about the third deck of an imposing Noah’s Ark replica, Faye Toler sat in quiet reflection. She rode a bus all the way from Pensacola, Fla., with other seniors from East Brent Baptist Church for opening day of the Ark Encounter, which features a full-size ark as described in the Bible’s book of Genesis.

“It actually takes you – and I was surprised to see this – from the beginning to the very end for the crucifixion” of Jesus, Toler said, looking across the vast expanse of timber. “To me, it’s seeing God’s word fulfilled. … It’s awesome just to see the size of it. We have electricity, equipment. And they were doing all this by hand. To me, that is unimaginable.

“It’s a place you’ve heard of. You want to go see it. Just like the Great Wall of China.”

After six years of legal, financial and public relations battles, the Ark Encounter welcomed more than 4,000 visitors by mid-afternoon Thursday, its first day open to the public, and officials expected many more before the ark closed at midnight. On the preview days for Ark supporters, crowds reached 8,300 on Tuesday and 7,000 on Wednesday.

The $100 million first phase of the attraction, with the ark as its centerpiece, is billed as a family-oriented experience. Visitors see Noah’s family in prayer at the start of the flood. Screeching, roaring and tweeting noises can be heard as guests make their way through exhibits that show the different types of creatures aboard the ark.

Another part of the exhibit shows how Noah’s family lived on the ark and took care of the animals. The attraction is the latest outreach effort of Answers in Genesis, a nonprofit ministry that believes in a literal interpretation of the Bible from the first verse.

People from across the United States and the world – Scotland, Switzerland, Australia and England – traveled to the controversial attraction in Grant County to see Disney-worthy displays and meet other like-minded believers.

The explanation-heavy displays aim to convey the belief that the Bible is factual, not just allegorical.

The Ark Encounter and its sister attraction, the Creation Museum, present a biblical view of creation and what the organization describes as “the truth of Scripture.”

In a view that runs contrary to mainstream science, the group believes the account of the Earth’s origins presented in Genesis is a simple but factual presentation of actual events: that the world was created in seven consecutive, 24-hour days, that it is 6,000 years old, and that the great flood described in the Bible was an actual, worldwide event. The group believes that fossils were created by the flood and that dinosaurs and humans lived at the same time.

Along with the believers and those just curious about the architecture of the ark, about 150 protesters stood with signs along the highway exit just up the road from the park. They included atheists, free thinkers and others opposed to the up to $18 million in state tourism tax incentives the Ark Encounter may receive.

“This is an important protest,” said Dave Silverman, president of American Atheists, a national organization. “This is the mass dumbing down of children at taxpayers’ expense. This is one man’s vision of his personal religious beliefs plus $100 million. And they’re using that money to push something that is provably wrong onto our children in this country.”

Silverman said the ark makes Christians and Christianity look ignorant.

“I’m here to ask the Christians of Kentucky to rise up and realize that they are being hurt by something that is promoting ignorance in the name of their religion,” he said.

So what do you think. Are we now in the days of Noe. Was the Bible literal and God knew this would be done?

The General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church (USA) offered prayers to the islamic deity, allah.

CHRISLAM ALERT: GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH USA OFFERS PRAYERS TO ALLAH

PCUSA Assembly Lifts Up Muslim Prayers to Allah.

The General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church (USA) offered prayers to the Islamic deity, Allah.

EDITOR’S NOTE: As the fallen Laodicean end times church continues it’s rise, we see more and more chrislam rearing its ugly head from within the congregation. This is right in line with the endless  wooing of Islam done by the Catholic pope in Rome. The One World Religion, by the time the Antichrist arrives, will absolutely be a combination of fallen Christianity and Islam known as Chrislam.

The prayer was led by a representative of the Muslim community on behalf of the Presbyterian Assembly. The representative, Wallid Said, prayed…

“Allah bless us and bless our families and bless our Lord. Lead us on the straight path – the path of all the prophets: Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad.”

Forward to the 14:00 mark to hear the prayers to Allah:

The Islamic prayer was the the first order of business for the assembly. The prayer was arranged by the Ecumenical and Interfaith ministry staff for the PCUSA. They apparently got what the asked for.

The full transcript is as follows:

“Allah bless us and bless our families and bless our Lord. Lead us on the straight path – the path of all the prophets: Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad. Peace be upon them all Amen.

“In the name of Allah, the beneficent, the merciful, let us praise the Lord. The creator of the universe, the most merciful, the most compassionate and the Lord of the universe who has created us and made us into nations and tribes, from male and females that we may know each other, not that we might despise each other, or may despise each other. Incline towards peace and justice and trust in God, for the Lord is one that hears and knows everything and the servants of God, the most compassionate, the most merciful, gracious are those who walk in the earth in humility and when bigots and hateful and Islamophobes address them, they say peace. Peace be upon them and peace be upon Allah.”
