EXPOSED Why Obama Says “ISIL” Instead Of “ISIS”

EXPOSED: Why Barack Obama Says ‘ISIL’ Instead Of ‘ISIS’ When Referring To The Islamic State

When you hear President Barack Obama speak about deadly attacks, he never says “Islamic terrorist attacks.”

President Barack Obama he never says Islamic terrorist attacks

However, he repeats the abbreviation “ISIL” often… You probably have asked yourself, why does he call the Islamic State that, instead of “ISIS”? It sounds strange and forced… but as America’s most popular conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh notes, there is a sinister reason why Obama uses the phrase: It’s an insult to Israel!

I think most people are wondering, “What is this ISIL? Why does he keep calling it ISIL? It’s ISIS.” They’re not saying, “Well, that’s because ISIS he can pin to Bush, but ISIL he can’t, so he doesn’t want to –” I just don’t think that anybody in the Regime even thinks that people are going to think in these terms. I think there’s a totally different reason for this. And I don’t know how to say it. (laughing) (interruption) Well, it does. Snerdley is asking me, “Doesn’t it have something to do with Israel?” Yes, because the Levant is the entire region.

ISIS stands for the Islamic State in Syria and Iraq, or Iraq and Syria, that’s the I-S, and ISIL, the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant includes more than Iraq and Syria. It would include Israel, which, to these people, Israel is a fraud. Israel doesn’t deserve to be there. That’s all Palestine and that’s what I think is behind the pronunciation, this insistence that it be called ISIL. He’s the only one that does it. I mean, others in the Regime do. Even the media calls it ISIS, but he sticks with ISIL.

I think he’s got a different audience for the term. I don’t think he’s talking to the American people. I think he’s talking to Iran. We just heard Walid Phares say that Obama’s linkage here is not to oppose ISIL because Iran supports ISIL, and it’s all to do with the sectarian violence between the Sunnis and the Shi’ites and the fact that Iran capitalizes on the sectarian violence, does not want it solved because they hope to end up controlling the entire Levant — uh, sorry — region. Didn’t mean to say that.

So your explanation makes total sense if people were attuned, the American people domestically were attuned to when ISIS began, when it didn’t began. See, I don’t think — I could be wrong about this. Very rare that I would be wrong, but it’s possible. I think the American people are so far beyond “Bush did it” and this and that. I mean, Bush is eight years ago now, seven-years. They know Bush had nothing to do with San Bernardino. He had nothing to do with Fort Hood. People know that when Bush was president, this stuff didn’t happen. People know that when Bush was president, there wasn’t an ISIS. ISIS and all of this happens to coincide with the election of Barack Hussein O. But the use of the word “Levant” has an audience in the Middle East. He’s not talking to us.

Even when referring to a terrorist organization responsible for the deaths in San Bernardino, California, Obama goes out of his way to slam Israel. Just which side is Obama on, anyway?

Levant

Here is a recent video which goes into further detail about the differences between “ISIS” and “ISIL.” A real leader in the White House would call out Islamic terrorists by their real name, instead of playing this dangerous rhetorical game:

As William Shakespeare asked, “What’s in a name?”

When it comes to long-standing geographical disputes between Israel and the hostile terrorist-harboring nations which surround her, apparently a name means a lot!

Watch (above) as this YouTube presents an interesting theory for why President Barack Obama is so insistent on saying “ISIL” Instead of “ISIS” when referring to the Islamic State which is beheading American journalists and wreaking havoc in the middle East.

Hussein uses ISIL because it refers to the Levant. Levant is an ancient title and refers to the geographic region that includes Israel but the name denies the existence of Israel.. By using the name ISIL Obama is signaling his buds that he too denies the legitimacy of Israel

Do you agree with this theory? Or is it far-fetched? Please leave us a comment and let us know what you think.

Is it time for a President in the White House who supports Israel? Please leave us a comment (below) and tell us what you think.

Here are 4 Disturbing Reasons ISIS Marketing is so Effective

While many experts say the Islamic State group in Iraq and Syria is on the decline, you wouldn’t know it from the organization’s public narrative.

ISIS aggressively promotes the attacks it directs, supports or inspires. The extremist group recently took credit for attacks in Orlando and Brussels, reinforcing its image of being an unstoppable and legitimate network. And it has built that image through a troublingly savvy combination of traditional and new media.

The ISIS propaganda strategy compels people to action: ISIS has persuaded an estimated 30,000 people from more than 85 countries to travel to hostile war zones in Iraq and Syria and inspired other supporters to commit acts of violence on ISIS’ behalf in their home countries. And ISIS propaganda does not only focus on its military activity: ISIS also tries to portray itself as an effective government, but that effort rarely gets the same level of attention in the mainstream U.S. press as its military activity.

The caliphate’s narrative helped fuel expansion beyond Iraq and Syria to regions such as Libya, Yemen, and even Afghanistan, where its competitor al-Qaida has been operating and messaging for years. Instead of selling a physical product, ISIS executes a robust and technically savvy propaganda strategy to sell the image of the caliphate. ISIS’ propaganda engine yields four key marketing insights that highlight why the group’s messaging is so resilient.

(Note: We considered embedding some specific examples of ISIS propaganda but decided against it because we do not wish to boost the legitimacy and exposure of the images.)

1. ISIS knows its target audience

It is crucial for any international corporation to master the ability to adapt marketing strategies and content for assorted foreign audiences and to make that content easily discoverable. ISIS is able to sustain a global reach while resonating locally by adopting a broadly consistent narrative of different themes to appeal to recruits.

In home-base countries like Iraq and Syria, ISIS propaganda often depicts ISIS’ governance successes to reinforce support from local populations. When fomenting hatred of Western governments, ISIS relies on highly sophisticated, multilingual content intended to outrage the public and get picked up by the mainstream press.

Foreign recruits in ISIS media department are critical to ensuring that the content targeting a specific region has the substance and timing to achieve maximum impact. These recruits provide basic translation services, monitor the reaction to ISIS propaganda, and use that feedback to tailor future content.

Once the content is tailored to the target audience, consumers need to be able to quickly and reliably obtain it across multiple channels and devices. Digital aggregators such as search engines and social media platforms allow anyone to filter content and pull ISIS propaganda. The group uses hashtags to spread campaigns on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, while those very companies try to identify and block terrorist content. ISIS has even gone so far as to develop its own digital aggregators, including language-specific websites, Telegram channels and mobile apps to further filter out noise and push content to an active audience.

2. ISIS saturates the market

Modern marketing departments recognize the importance of saturating their diverse target audience with content of varying formats and production value.

The scale and variety of ISIS propaganda system are immense. The system is composed of videos, photo essays, magazines, audio programs and news bulletins in more than a half-dozen languages. ISIS saturates the market with an average of 38 pieces of such content a day.

Islamic State group Steal a Jet

Islamic State group Steal a Jet

How can ISIS create that much daily content? By primarily relying on more than 35 provincial media offices to frequently publish visual content (even if relatively unsophisticated), ensuring that ISIS’ audience has constant access to a large volume of timely information. Complementing these efforts is a group of professional media developers capitalizing on the democratization of modern media development tools. These developers are creating highly sophisticated content, including feature length movies containing meticulously rehearsed scenes with stylized special effects.

Both the format and complexity of ISIS content are markedly different from al-Qaida’s, which featured senior leadership using a static camera and referencing outdated events in formal Arabic. ISIS highly produced content is fresh and more enticing to Sunni millennials, the primary demographic for recruitment.

ISIS emphasis on production values assists in attracting the attention of mainstream media, ensuring that its narrative is broadcast to a global audience, and it seeks to portray an image (whether true or not) of an effective and well-run government.

3. ISIS adapts to modern media

As technology advances, the means by which people receive information also evolves. In order to maintain a connection with the target audience, publishers must adjust their primary distribution methods between print, broadcast and, now, new media.

Militant propagandists followed the same transformation. For example, al-Qaida initially relied on TV networks like Al Jazeera to distribute its messages and later embraced the Web by relying on password-protected Arabic-language Web forums to distribute propaganda.

But ISIS moved beyond al-Qaida’s private online network. Recognizing the desire of its audience to leverage mobile platforms for media consumption and engagement, ISIS developed a decentralized and diverse network of free file-upload sites, social media platforms and messaging apps to ensure continuous and cost-efficient access to a global audience. Offline, inside ISIS-controlled territory, ISIS still relies on traditional media like print publications and broadcast radio to target local audiences while also removing competing alternatives. This diverse set of distribution channels enables ISIS to reach an equally diverse set of target audiences, including opponents, the international community and potential recruits.

4. ISIS grooms brand ambassadors

Word of mouth is the most effective messaging in all of marketing, perceived by consumers to be more trusted than marketing messages straight from a corporation. Just this month, new measures in the U.K. propose separating extremist prison inmates from other inmates to prevent them from radicalizing others.

ISIS primarily relies on a combination of hashtags and a relatively small group of Twitter accounts that tweet its content more than 150 times a day. This results in a decentralized and redundant distribution network largely protected from censorship, despite these accounts being frequent targets for suspension by Twitter.

Of course, the key to growing a brand footprint is getting people to share content. Once ISIS content is made available to the public, digital supporters share it with zeal. They provide encouragement and direction; they counter anti-ISIS messaging; and they repackage, retranslate and redistribute their own unofficial content.

Personalization of content is also crucial in supporting the radicalization and mobilization process. Since ISIS doesn’t typically own the platforms where its propaganda is hosted, it isn’t able to develop the detailed user profiles most companies rely on for targeted advertisement. Instead, ISIS supporters and recruiters match propaganda with the motivations and interests of each potential recruit they target.

Capitalizing on the excitement and momentum that conversations and user-generated content generate, ISIS encourages the activity further through propagandist press releases that frame online support as a legitimate form of jihad, on par with physical fighting.

The continuous discourse generated by the group of unofficial supporters not only sustains and reinforces ISIS narrative but also strengthens its brand credibility, expanding its base of loyal support. The trend also further radicalizes ISIS existing and future supporters — making them more potentially dangerous.

ISIS Bad at a Nice City

ISIS Linked To Bastille Day Attack In France; At Least 70 Killed And 100 Injured

My deepest sympathies and prayers are with the people of France this morning, as they face the aftermath of yet another deadly terrorist attack, so soon after the Paris attacks. In the southern city of Nice, a Tunisian-born resident drove a truck through a heavy crowd of Bastille Day revelers, killing 84 (at last report) and injuring dozens more.

Shedding TearsIronically, I noticed Fox News reported that Congressional Democrats took a break from calling for more gun control laws to send condolences to the French. There will no doubt be cries of “how many more times will this happen” before we ban…what? Trucks? Pressure cookers? Suicide vests? Rocks? ISIS, who took credit for inspiring the killer in Nice, has called for using all those weapons and more. They’ve told their followers that if they can’t get a gun, use anything that comes to hand to attack anyone who doesn’t submit to their twisted ideology. Indeed, how many more times will scores of innocent people have to die because our leaders refuse to acknowledge what really motivates these murderers: radical Islam. Until they can be honest enough to name the enemy that’s killing us, the killing will continue, and the left will keep blaming the killers’ actions on their tools, never admitting that to ISIS, everything on Earth is just another tool to commit murder.

At least 70 people have been killed and up to 100 more injured in a terrorist attack in the southern French city of Nice.

Officials said a truck was deliberately driven into a crowd celebrating of Bastille Day, the date in 1789 when the Bastille prison in Paris was stormed. The attack killed vast numbers of people gathered to celebrate one of France’s largest public holidays. Initial reports said there was also gunfire at the scene.

Initial reports said a Twitter account that supports ISIS claimed the attacks were retribution for the death of a high profile Chechen ISIS leader.

French police officials urged local citizens to “stay indoors.”

“It is absolute chaos,” one witness said. “There are reports of dozens of people killed, and many more injured. Bodies are lying everywhere. Police are flooding the streets, including anti-terrorism officers. Nobody knows what to do, except to hide away. Gunmen are meant to be targeting hotels.”

A witness named Anthony was quoted as giving the following account: “The fireworks ended, and we went back. At that time we saw the white truck. A 6 ton truck. It was speeding at 60 km/h, 70km/h. I saw behind the wheel, the driver was deciding which way it was heading. The truck rolled on to the pavement. It happened two meters from us. I saw people lying on the ground, I saw a small child hit the earth.

The truck reportedly drove into and over anyone who got in its way, veering on and off the pavement during what was described as a two to three-mile rampage. Several media accounts said the truck was shown on French TV riddled with bullets, suggesting the driver was killed by police who sought to stop the vehicle.

France is still under a State of Emergency following last year’s attacks on Paris.

Pope Francis Declares That ‘Christians And Muslims Are Brothers And Sisters’

The pope took his message of peace to the Central African Republic, where thousands have died in clashes that have split the country along religious lines.

Pope Francis ventured into one of the world’s most dangerous neighborhoods on Monday to implore Christians and Muslims to end a spiral of hate, vendetta and bloodshed that has killed thousands over the past three years and divided a nation.

Ending his three-nation Africa tour under intense security, Francis passed through a no-man’s zone to enter PK5, a district where most Muslims who have not fled Central African Republic’s capital Bangui have now sought refuge. He later celebrated Mass in the national stadium before flying back to Rome.

The PK5 neighborhood has been cut off from the rest of the city for the past two months by a ring of so-called anti-balaka Christian militias, who block supplies from entering and Muslims from leaving.

A heavy deployment of United Nations peacekeepers with rifles and bullet-proof vests was present throughout PK5 and armored vehicles mounted with machine guns were positioned along the route of Pope Francis’ motorcade.

U.N. sharpshooters looked out from the tops of the minarets crowning the freshly repainted green and white mosque, where hundreds of PK5’s Muslims listened as Francis made an impassioned appeal for an end to the violence.

“Christians and Muslims are brothers and sisters,” he said after a speech by Imam Tidiani Moussa Naibi, one of the local religious leaders trying to foster dialogue.

Pope Francis looks on, alongside Imam Nehedid Tidjani, during a visit to the Central Mosque in Bangui on November 30, 2015. Pope Francis said on November 30 that Christians and Muslims were "brothers", urging them to reject hatred and violence while visiting a mosque in the Central African Republic's capital which has been ravaged by sectarian conflict.

Pope Francis said on November 30 that Christians and Muslims were “brothers”, urging them to reject hatred and violence while visiting a mosque in the Central African Republic’s capital which has been ravaged by sectarian conflict.

“Those who claim to believe in God must also be men and women of peace,” he said, noting that Christians, Muslims and followers of traditional religions had lived together in peace for many years.

He appealed for “an end to every act which, from whatever side, disfigures the face of God and whose ultimate aim is to defend particular interests by any and all means.”

Central African Republic descended into chaos in early 2013 when mainly Muslim Seleka rebels seized power in the majority Christian country, sparking reprisals from Christian militias. Leaders from both sides say the hatred has been manipulated for political gain.

Healing rifts between Christian and Muslim communities has been a theme throughout Francis’ first visit to the continent, which has also taken him to Kenya and Uganda.

However, nowhere is his call for peace and reconciliation more pressing than in Central African Republic, where thousands have died and hundreds of thousands have been displaced in clashes that have split the country along religious lines.

UNPRECEDENTED SECURITY

“Together, we must say no to hatred, to revenge and to violence, particularly that violence which is perpetrated in the name of a religion or of God himself. God is peace, ‘salam,'” the pope said, using the Arabic word for peace.

Unprecedented security measures have been laid on for the pontiff’s two-day visit to the former French colony, which took place amid a surge in violence.

In addition to around 500 national police and gendarmes, Central African Republic’s United Nations peacekeeping mission brought in additional forces and deployed over 3,000 soldiers in an attempt to secure the city during the pope’s visit. French troops based in Bangui were also on alert.

Tit-for-tat killings in and around the tiny PK5 enclave have claimed at least 100 lives since late September, according to Human Rights Watch.

Imam Naibi has called PK5 “an open-air prison”, but on Monday he struck a optimistic tone.

“The relationship between our Christian brothers and sisters and ourselves is so deep that no maneuver seeking to undermine it will succeed,” he told the pope.

“The Christians and Muslims of this country are obliged to live together and love each other.”

Both Christians and Muslims have welcomed the pope’s visit, hoping he can spur renewed dialogue and help restore peace.

Thousands of Muslims lined the roads of PK5 to get a glimpse of the pontiff, and a group of young Muslims in cars and motorbikes ventured out of the enclave, following the pope’s motorcade as it headed to the national stadium.

There, Francis was greeted by believers who packed into its 20,000 seats or onto the soccer pitch, dancing and singing.

After celebrating a final Mass before the cheering crowd, the pope took a lap around the stadium in the back of a modified Toyota pick-up before heading to the airport and flying back to Rome.

Biblical Christianity and Islam are as far apart from each other as light is from darkness

Pope Francis is not speaking the truth when he says that ‘Christians and Muslims are brother and sister’, not by a long shot. The religion is Islam clearly teaches that God did not have a son, much less an only begotten one. Islam reduces Jesus Christ to a mere prophet on par with Mohammed. The Bible says that whosoever denies that Jesus is the Son of God is of Antichrist! This is what the Qu’ran says about Jesus:

  • “Further, that He may warn those (also) who say, “God hath begotten a son”: No knowledge have they of such a thing, nor had their fathers. It is a grievous thing that issues from their mouths as a saying what they say is nothing but falsehood!” Sura 18:4-5

and this is what the Bible says about Jesus:

  • “While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.” Matthew 17:5 (KJV)

The Huffington Post reported today that as U.N. sharpshooters looked out from the tops of the minarets crowning the freshly repainted green and white mosque, hundreds of PK5’s Muslims listened as Francis made an impassioned appeal for an end to the violence.

“Christians and Muslims are brothers and sisters,” he said after a speech by Imam Tidiani Moussa Naibi, one of the local religious leaders trying to foster dialogue.

Allah is not the “Arabic word for God”, Allah is the name of the moon god from ancient Persia and was one of 360 gods that the pagan Arabs worshipped. Mohammed came along and, in a vain attempt to copy the Bible, began to teach about the “one god” named Allah. Mohammed stole from the Bible where it suited him to do so, but mostly made stuff up from whole cloth like Joseph Smith would later do starting the Mormon religion in 1823.

Pope Francis is telling you a whopping lie when he attempts to equate Biblical Christianity with pagan Islam, and don’t you believe it for a second. Christianity and Islam are as far apart as the light is from the darkness. Far from being the “religion of peace”, Islam is the religion of the Devil. Click here to see just how nasty and devilish Islam truly is. Jesus says that He and He alone is the one and only way to God, and He shares that title and distinction with no one.

“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” John 14:6 (KJV)

Sorry, Mohammed, but according to the Bible, you don’t even figure into the equation. The God of the Bible has nothing in common with the Allah of Mohammed’s imagination.

Pope Francis, why don’t you get right with the real God and get saved?

#6 From Obama’s book, The Audacity of Hope: “I am not willing to have the state deny American citizens a civil union that confers equivalent rights on such basic matters as hospital visitation or health insurance coverage simply because the people they love are of the same sex—nor am I willing to accept a reading of the Bible that considers an obscure line in Romans to be more defining of Christianity than the Sermon on the Mount.”

France launches airstrikes on ISIS in Syria

PARIS (AP) – A French defense official says the country has launched a “massive” series of airstrikes on the Islamic State group’s de facto capital in Syria, destroying a jihadi training camp and a munitions dump.

The ministry spokesman said Sunday that the strikes on Raqqa involved 12 aircraft, including 10 fighter jets, and 20 bombs were dropped.

The spokesman spoke on condition of anonymity because he wasn’t authorized to speak publicly.

French fighter jets launched their biggest raids in Syria to date, targeting an ISIS stronghold in Raqqa just two days after the group claimed coordinated attacks in Paris that killed about 130 people, officials said Sunday.

The raid involved 12 aircraft, including 10 fighter jets, and was launched simultaneously from the United Arab Emirates and Jordan, officials with the Defense Ministry said in a statement.

“Twenty bombs were dropped,” the statement said, adding that the mission had taken place Sunday evening.

“The first target destroyed was used by ISIS as a commanding post. A jihad recruitment center. And a depot for arms and munitions. The second target housed a terrorist training camp,” the ministry said.

The operation was carried out in coordination with U.S. forces, French officials said. The targets were identified based on previous reconnaissance missions conducted by France, the added.

France launched airstrikes against Isis targets in Syria on Sunday night, with jets bombing the Islamist terror group’s stronghold of Raqqa.

The strikes came hours after France and the US pledged to step up the campaign against Isis in response to the chilling, co-ordinated terrorist attacks in Paris that killed 129 people and wounded more than 350.

Speaking in Antalya at the G-20 summit, Laurent Fabius, French foreign minister, said: “France has always said that because she has been threatened and attacked by [Isis] it would be normal that she react in the framework of self defense. It would be normal to take action. That’s what we did with the strikes on Raqqa, which is their headquarter. We cannot let [Isis] act without reacting.”

The French defense ministry said 12 aircraft had taken part in raids on a command center, munitions depot and training camp in Raqqa. The strikes were launched in co-ordination with U.S. forces.

The flurry of air strikes marks a significant escalation of French involvement in the conflict in Syria. It also follows an agreement on Sunday by the Pentagon to accelerate the process for sharing intelligence about potential Isis targets with the French military.

The commitment to “intensify” action against the Islamic terrorist group in Syria came as France and Belgium launched a manhunt for a suspected eighth assailant, named as Salah Abdeslam, after an assault deemed “an act of war” by President François Hollande. Seven terrorists died on Friday night after six set off their explosives and another was shot by the police.

Manuel Valls, the French prime minister, has suggested that the state of emergency giving sweeping new investigative powers to police forces could be extended beyond 12 days — a move that would require approval by parliament.

World leaders attending a Group of 20 summit in Turkey united in condemning what U.S. President Barack Obama called an attack “on the civilized world”. But they are struggling to rethink an anti-Isis strategy against the militant group behind the most complex series of attacks since September 11 2001.

Ben Rhodes, the U.S. deputy national security adviser, said he was confident that in “coming days and weeks” the US and France would “intensify our strikes against [Isis] . . . to make clear there is no safe haven for these terrorists”.

Besides raising questions over the vulnerability of European capitals to terrorism, the Paris attacks revived rightwing calls for tighter border controls across the EU, further complicating an already fraught debate over the migration crisis.

FRENCH-WHATSHOTNJean-Claude Juncker, the European Commission president, hit back at demands — from eastern Europe in particular — for tighter borders, calling on politicians to stop conflating refugees with murderers.

Angela Merkel, the German chancellor, showed little sign of rethinking her approach to migration amid claims that one of the Paris attackers slipped into Europe with the flow of migrants through Greece.

Stressing the need to avoid jumping to conclusions, Ms Merkel said: “We owe this to the victims and their relatives [and] to the many innocent refugees that are fleeing war and terrorism.”

Brussels’ concerns that the refugee crisis could upend the migration debate and place Europe’s passport-free Schengen zone in peril were underlined by Markus Söder, the Bavarian finance minister — of the CSU, sister party to Ms Merkel’s CDU — who said: “Paris changes everything.” If Germany could not secure its borders, he said, “then Bavaria can take on this task”.

With Republican U.S. presidential candidates pressing for Nato to invoke “Article V” and declare the attacks an assault on all members of the Atlantic military alliance, the White House has joined Paris in planning for reinforced strikes in Syria.

During what White House officials described as a “constructive” meeting with President Vladimir Putin at the G-20 talks, Mr Obama attempted to overcome differences with the Russian leader regarding Syria and agree ways to fight Isis.

Republican presidential candidates were not satisfied with the Obama administration’s pledges. They accused the president of being soft on Isis before the Paris attacks, and urged more aggressive U.S. moves against the group, including the deployment of additional special forces troops.

Marco Rubio, one of the main candidates, said: “We’re going to have to conduct an increased number of special operations attacks, targeting Isis leadership and revealing that they are not invincible.”

Meanwhile, David Cameron, the British prime minister, signaled renewed determination to secure a mandate from parliament for strikes in Syria. “It’s become even more clear that our safety and security depends on degrading and ultimately destroying Isil [Isis], whether it’s in Iraq or Syria,” he said.

ISIS ‘Mein Kampf’ Document Calling For Annihilation Of The Jews And Israel Found In Pakistan

Intelligence officials are comparing a newly discovered secret ISIS document to Hitler’s “Mein Kampf,” as it blames Israel for the rise of the Islamic State and crowns U.S. President Barack Obama as the “Mule of the Jews.”

“They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.” Psalm 83:4 (KJV)

Found in Pakistan’s remote tribal region by American Media Institute (AMI), the 32-page Urdu language document promotes an “end of the world” battle as a final solution. It argues that the Islamic leader should be recognized as the sole ruler of the world’s 1 billion Muslims, under a religious empire called a “caliphate.”

“It reads like the caliphate’s own Mein Kampf,” said a U.S. intelligence official, who reviewed the document. “While the world is watching videosof beheadings and crucifixions in Iraq and Syria the Islamic State is moving into North Africa the Middle East, and now we see it has a strategy in South Asia. It’s a magician’s trick, watch this hand and you’ll never see what the other is doing.”

Retired U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency Director Gen. Michael Flynn and other U.S. intelligence officials confirmed the authenticity of the document based on its unique markings, specific language used to describe leaders and the writing style and religious wording that matched other Islamic State records.

Flynn said the undated document, “A Brief History of the Islamic State Caliphate (ISC), The Caliphate According to the Prophet,” is a campaign plan that “lays out their intent, their goals and objectives, a red flag to which we must pay attention.”

The document serves as a Nazi-like recruiting pitch that attempts to unite dozens of factions of the Pakistani and Afghan Taliban into a single army of terror.  It includes a never-before-seen history of the Islamic State, details chilling future battle plans and urges al-Qaeda to join Islamic State.

Its tone is direct: “Accept the fact that this caliphate will survive and prosper until it takes over the entire world and beheads every last person that rebels against Allah. This is the bitter truth, swallow it.”

Rabbi Abraham Cooper, associate dean of the Simon Wiesenthal center for human rights who heads Center’s Digital Terrorism and Hate Project, compares the Islamic State threats in the document to the rise of Nazism pre-World War II.

The brutal killing of a teacher and three children at the Ozar Hatorah school in Toulouse in 2012 by an Algerian Islamist was a major signal to the Jewish community that Europe was no longer safe and that not enough was being done to curtail the rise of anti-semitism, he said.

“It’s important to remember what our founder, Wiesenthal said, ‘it often starts with the Jews but it never ends with the Jews,” Cooper said. “As a matter fact [Islamic State] did not create anti-semitism but they are taking advantage of it, and they are building on it.”

The document advocates creating a new terrorist army in Afghanistan and Pakistan to trigger a war in India and provoke an Armageddon-like confrontation with the United States. It also details Islamic State’s plot to attack U.S. soldiers as they withdraw from Afghanistan and target America diplomats and Pakistani officials and blames the rise of jihadi organizations on the establishment of Israel.

“No sooner had the British government relinquished control of Israel, Ben-Gurion, the leader of the Jews, declared the independence of the State of Israel, triggering a global migration of Jews to the Jewish State, and launching the systematic persecution of Palestinian Muslims who had to abandon their homes and migrate,” the document states.

isis, hitler...Compare!

isis, hitler…Compare!

The document discloses the history of Islamic State dating back to the early 1990s and explains why in 2011 its leader, Abu Bakr al- Bagdhadi, unleashed car bombs to avenge Osama bin Laden’s death, and boasts about the suicide rates of American soldiers.

“Urban centers across Iraq exploded with car bombs and IED’s. The losses inflicted upon Americans, apostates, and heretics were unprecedented, as were the suicide rates amongst U.S soldiers,” the document states. “This state of affairs forced Mule of the Jews, U.S President Obama to announce an exit plan.”

The battle plan to “end the world” is described in six phases (three of which have already passed) – ripping pages from al-Qaeda’s original plans to defeat the west, in a graphic illustration of how ISIS sees itself as the true heirs to Osama Bin Laden’s legacy.

  • Phase 1 “Awakening” 2000-2003: Islamic State calls for “a major operation against the U.S. .. to provoke a crusade against Islam.”
  • Phase 2 “Shock and Awe” 2004 – 2006: Islamic State will lure U.S. into multiple theatres of war, including cyber-attacks and establish charities across the Muslim and Arab world to support terrorism.
  • Phase 3 “Self-reliance” 2007-2010: Islamic State will create “interference” with Iraq’s neighboring states with particular focus on Syria.
  • Phase 4 “Reaping/extortion/receiving” 2010-2013: Islamic State will attack “U.S and Western interests” to destroy their economy and replace the dollar with silver and gold and expose Muslim governments’ relations with Israel and the U.S.
  • Phase 5 Declaring the Caliphate 2013-2016: Not much details offered here. The document just says, “The Caliphate According to The Prophet.
  • Phase 6, Open Warfare 2017-2020:  Islamic State predicts faith will clash with non-believers and “Allah will grant victory to the believers after which peace will reign on earth.”

The document urges followers of al-Qaeda and the Taliban to join the Islamic State in overthrowing Arab governments who have relations with the U.S. and Israel, unlike al-Qaeda, which believed it was “important to weaken the U.S before launching an armed revolt in Arab states and establishing a caliphate.”

In response to the document, a senior ranking Israeli official said that in the Middle East the world faces two threats – from Islamic State and from Iran. “We need not strengthen one at the expense of the other. We need to weaken both and prevent the aggression and arming of both,” he warned.

Alistair Baskey, deputy spokesman for the White House’s National Security Council said Islamic State is being monitored “closely to see whether their emergence will have a meaningful impact on the threat environment in the region.”

The document builds on evidence that Islamic State is expanding into the region where the September 11 attacks were born. A united Taliban, backed by the hundreds of millions of dollars of Iraqi oil revenue now enjoyed by Islamic State, would be a “game-changer,” officials said.

The document warns that “preparations” for an attack in India are underway and predicts that an attack will provoke an apocalyptic confrontation with America: “Even if the U.S tries to attack with all its allies, which undoubtedly it will, the (entire global Muslim community) will be united, resulting in the final battle.”

A war in India would magnify Islamic State stature and threaten the stability of the region, said Bruce Riedel, a senior fellow with the Brookings Institution who served more than 30 years in the CIA. “Attacking in India is the Holy Grail of South Asian jihadists.”

Pakistan Foreign Secretary Aizaz Chaudhry denied the presence of Islamic State in the region, calling it only “a potential threat.”

Unlike al-Qaida, whose focus was the United States and other western nations, the document said Islamic State leaders believe that’s the wrong strategic goal. “Instead of wasting energy in a direct confrontation with the U.S., we should focus on an armed uprising in the Arab world for the establishment of the caliphate,” the document said.

The failure to target the radical Islamic ideas has given the group breathing room to spread throughout the world much like Hitler did.

“We did a lousy job predicting what Hitler was going to do in the 1920s, 1930s – honestly, we blew it,” Cooper said. “It’s hard to take seriously or believe that such hatred was real or would be possible. They made jokes about Jews, degraded Jews but nobody believed that they would be capable of what they were saying.  So now, when groups, like [Islamic State] come along and say they are going to do A B and C, you have to take them for their word.”

FRANCE MOURNS, SEEKS CLUES TO THOSE BEHIND DEADLY ATTACKS

PARIS (AP) — Seven people were detained Sunday in Belgium in connection with deadly attacks in Paris as the city entered three days of mourning for the 129 people killed in the worst violence in France in decades.

Thousands of French troops were deployed and tourist sites stood shuttered in one of the most visited cities on Earth, while more details started to emerge about the investigation.

The Islamic State group claimed responsibility for Friday’s gun and bomb attacks on a stadium, a concert hall and Paris cafes that also wounded 350 people, 99 of them seriously.

Authorities said three teams of attackers were involved and seven suicide bombers blew themselves up – three near the stadium and three at the concert hall and one not far from it.

Authorities have not said if there are more attackers at large.

A French police official said Sunday that three Kalashnikovs were found inside a Seat car found in Montreuil, a suburb 6 kilometers (nearly 4 miles) east of the French capital. It was one of two vehicles known to have been used in the attacks. The official, who could not be named because the investigation is ongoing, said the weapons have not yet been analyzed.

In Belgium, an official said the seven people detained would hear later Sunday whether they would be held in custody longer. Three other people were arrested there Saturday.

The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity due to the ongoing investigation, also said two of the seven attackers who died in Paris on Friday night were French men living in Brussels. He said one was living in the Molenbeek neighborhood, which is considered a focal point for religious extremism and fighters going to Syria.

Security was heightened across France, across Europe’s normally open borders, even across the ocean to New York, and how to respond to the Paris attacks became a key point among U.S. Democratic presidential hopefuls at a debate Saturday night.

President Barack Obama on Sunday called the terror attacks in Paris an “attack on the civilized world.”

Obama, speaking at the G-20 summit in Turkey focusing on fighting terrorism, pledged U.S. solidarity with France in the effort to hunt down the perpetrators and bring them to justice.

At the request of France, the European Union will hold a special meeting of its interior and justice ministers Friday to assess the impact of the Paris attacks.

In Paris, the shining sun and warm air felt cruelly incongruous.

Streets, parks and commerce were unusually empty for such a mild, clear day, and several city monuments were closed for security reasons or to express the city’s grief.

Some Parisians and tourists defied the high security, walking past heavily-armed soldiers in body armor to take pictures beneath the Eiffel Tower.

In its statement claiming responsibility, the Islamic State group called Paris “the capital of prostitution and obscenity” and mocked France’s air attacks on suspected IS targets in Syria and Iraq.

President Francois Hollande has said that France, which is already bombing Islamic State targets in Syria and Iraq in a U.S.-led coalition, would increase its military efforts to crush IS and be “merciless” against the extremists.

The investigation sprawled well beyond France’s borders, since Paris Prosecutor Francois Molins said some attackers mentioned Syria and Iraq.

French authorities are particularly concerned about the threat from hundreds of French Islamic radicals who have traveled to Syria and returned home, possibly with dangerous skills.

Details about one attacker began to emerge: 29-year-old Frenchman Ismael Mostefai, who had a record of petty crime and had been flagged in 2010 for ties to Islamic radicalism. He was identified from fingerprints found on a finger amid the bloody carnage from a Paris concert hall, the Paris prosecutor said. A judicial official and lawmaker Jean-Pierre Gorges confirmed his identity.

Police detained his father, a brother and other relatives Saturday night, and they were still being questioned Sunday, the judicial official said.

Struggling to keep his country calm and united after an exceptionally violent year, Hollande met Sunday with opposition leaders – conservative rival and former President Nicolas Sarkozy as well as increasingly popular far-right leader Marine Le Pen, who has used the attacks on Paris to advance her anti-immigrant agenda.

After the meeting, Sarkozy called for a change in France’s Syria policy, suggesting the country needs to work with both Russia and the U.S. to “destroy” IS.

“We need everyone … there can’t be two coalitions in Syria,” Sarkozy said.

On the streets, the entire nation was enveloped in mourning. Flags were lowered and Notre Dame Cathedral – closed to tourists like many Paris sites – planned a special church service later Sunday for victims’ families. Well-wishers heaped flowers and notes on a monument to the dead in the neighborhood where attackers sprayed gunfire on cafe diners and concert-goers.

Quentin Bongard said he left one of the targeted cafes after a fight with his girlfriend just moments before the attacks.

“Those are all places that I go often to,” the Paris resident said, still shaken. “We just want to come here, bring flowers, because we don’t want to be terrorized … but it is frightening.”

Yet even in their grief, residents were defiant about the lifestyle that has made their city a world treasure. Olivier Bas was among several hundred who gathered late Saturday at the site of the Bataclan hall massacre. Although Paris was quiet and jittery, Bas intended to go out for a drink – “to show that they won’t win.”

People pass a painting on a garage door opposite the restaurant on Rue de Charonne, Paris, Sunday, Nov. 15, 2015, where attacks took place on Friday. The Islamic State group claimed responsibility for Friday's attacks on a stadium, a concert hall and Paris cafes that left more than 120 people dead and over 350 wounded.

Meanwhile, refugees fleeing to the continent by the tens of thousands feared that the Paris attacks will prompt EU nations to put up even more razor-wire border fences and other obstacles to their quest to start a new life.

A Syrian passport found next to the body of one of the men who attacked France’s national stadium suggested that its owner passed through Greece into the European Union and on through Macedonia and Serbia last month. It’s a route tens of thousands of people fleeing war and poverty in Syria and elsewhere have been using.

A top European Union official insisted Sunday that the bloc’s refugee policy doesn’t need to be overhauled in the wake of the Paris attacks and urged world leaders not to start treating asylum-seekers as terrorists.

“Those who organized these attacks, and those who carried them out, are exactly those who the refugees are fleeing,” European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker told reporters at the G-20 summit in Turkey. “There is no need to revise the European Union’s entire refugee policy.”

The Seventh Seal of Revelation – The Meaning of The Silence In Heaven

And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour. – Revlation 8:1.

Of the many hard-to-decipher passages in the Book of Revelation, verse 1 of chapter 8, is one of few attempt to interpret. The Seventh Seal is a monumental event in Heaven, but what does it mean? Why is there silence? This article will attempt to explain the meaning of the silence in Heaven and explain why it is a critical aspect not just of end times events but of the life of every person who has ever lived.

The Meaning of The Silence in Heaven

Be silent, O all flesh, before the Lord: for he is raised up out of his holy habitation.

Be silent, O all flesh, before the Lord: for he is raised up out of his holy habitation.

In our article, Who Are The Four Horsemen of The Apocalypse?, House of the Nazarene (To be Lord willing done,) detailed the meaning of the first four seals of Revelation 6. The Seven Sealed Book was given to The Lord Jesus Christ upon His triumphant ascension and return to Heaven, having defeated Satan, death and the grave in His death, burial and resurrection. Jesus Christ is the only one found worthy to open the book and it is given to Him as He took His seat of honor at the Right Hand of God the Father. From there, the first four seals were opened, unleashing a series of spirits who bring judgments and tribulation to the world throughout the entirety of the church age. The 5th seal is then opened which brings the spirit of persecution and martyrdom that Christians have experienced from the first century AD and continue to today.
The opening of the 6th Seal triggers the Rapture and the Day of The Lord, (Work in progress, Stay Tuned!) the time at which God will pour out His wrath on the unbelieving world. Revelation chapter 6 ends with the powerful people of the world fully understanding that the cataclysmic global earthquake and events of the 6th seal are of divine origin:

And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand? – Revelation 6:12-17.

This shaking of Heaven and Earth is the time that God rises to personally intervene and judge the centuries of sin and evil of unbelieving, unrepentant humanity. It is also a wake up call to Israel to return to the worship of the God of their fathers. Hence we see first the Rapture and then the sealing of the 144,000 Jewish witnesses (Work in progress, Stay Tuned!), who will share the Gospel of the Kingdom with Jewish people and the world in the first part of the Day of The Lord/Great Tribulation. These are the events of Revelation Chapter 7 and serves as the backdrop for Revelation Chapter 8 and the opening of the 7th seal.

A Sign of Coming Judgment

The silence in Heaven serves a very specific purpose.

The silence in Heaven serves a very specific purpose.

The silence in Heaven is a sign of God’s impending devastating judgment. When a people or nation or even the world is so far gone into rebellion against God with no repentance, The Lord removes His Holy people and allows for a period of “silence”, right before His judgements are unleashed onto the world. How can this be so? Well The Bible instructs on how to interpret and understand Scripture:

Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little: – Isaiah 28:9-10.

The Bible is to be interpreted by using Scripture to interpret Scripture – that is, using parts of the Bible to understand similar parts. The Apostle Paul summed this method up stating:

Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. – 1 Corinthians 2:12-13.

So where can examples or types and shadows of this Heavenly silence be found in Scripture? The first example is in the Days of Noah.

The Silence Before The Flood

The Lord’s preacher of the Gospel went silent for seven days before the flood.

The Lord’s preacher of the Gospel went silent for seven days before the flood.

The Days of Noah were infamous for being a time of global, rampant rebellion against God. Humanity, plagued by their own sinful lust and the influx of Nephilim giant hybrids, had become so deep in sin that the Bible says, “..God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.” (Genesis 6:5). God then instructed Noah to prepare an ark because in the years to come, The Lord was going to destroy the entire world with a flood. Noah, was a “preacher of righteousness.” He was not just a believer in The Lord, he committed his life to preaching belief in God to those in his society. But once the ark was prepared, God brought the preaching of His faithful servant to a close:

the LORD said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation. Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female: and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and his female… For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; and every living substance that I have made will I destroy from off the face of the earth. And Noah did according unto all that the LORD commanded him. And Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters was upon the earth. And Noah went in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons’ wives with him, into the ark, because of the waters of the flood… There went in two and two unto Noah into the ark, the male and the female, as God had commanded Noah. And it came to pass after seven days, that the waters of the flood were upon the earth. (Genesis 7).

So once the ark was complete, God instructed Noah to take all of his family and all of the animals and enter into the ark for seven days. The passage in Genesis goes back over this detail to emphasize its significance.

In the self same day entered Noah, and Shem, and Ham, and Japheth, the sons of Noah, and Noah’s wife, and the three wives of his sons with them, into the ark; They, and every beast after his kind, and all the cattle after their kind, and every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind, and every fowl after his kind, every bird of every sort. And they went in unto Noah into the ark, two and two of all flesh, wherein is the breath of life. And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him: and the LORD shut him in. (Genesis 7).

Not only was Noah commanded to enter the ark seven days in advance, on the same day he entered and got every person and creature on board, God shut the door Himself. The chance to hear the preaching of repentance before the worst judgment the world had seen was over. No longer would the preacher of righteousness, who knew the flood was coming, be able to warn anyone. Instead, the completed ark sat in silence for seven days, with no one going in or out.So the sinful, rebellious world were left in ignorance. The Lord Jesus Christ confirms this in Matthew 24:

But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. – Matthew 24:37-39.

The devastating flood came which destroyed all people, nephilim and creatures from the Earth, except for those who were safely aboard the divinely-designed ship. The silence of God preceded utter judgment and destruction. This pattern is seen again in an even more powerful way in the book of Joshua.

The Battle of Jericho

Jericho seemed to be invincible until it experienced God’s wrath.

Jericho seemed to be invincible until it experienced God’s wrath.

The Book of Joshua is an amazing book for the student of the Bible. It is full of types and shadows of the end times. In many ways, the book runs parallel to the book of Revelation (for more information on this please our article: Joshua’s Great Battle: A Preview of War With The Antichrist). (Work in progress, Stay Tuned!) After being freed from the Egyptians by God in the Exodus, the Battle of Jericho was the first battle the ancient Israelites waged to actually enter the Promised Land. It is a type and shadow of the Battle The Lord Jesus waged and will wage to lead His faithful believers to salvation (at the cross) and His Millennial Kingdom (at Armageddon), when the Earth will be taken from Satan and return to Christ (just as Joshua was removing the Canaanite usurpers out of the Promised Land and returning it to God’s people).

God gave Joshua very specific instructions for how the battle was to fought. Joshua then relayed them in full detail to the nation of Israel:

And the Lord said unto Joshua, See, I have given into thine hand Jericho, and the king thereof, and the mighty men of valour. And ye shall compass the city, all ye men of war, and go round about the city once. Thus shalt thou do six days. And seven priests shall bear before the ark seven trumpets of rams’ horns: and the seventh day ye shall compass the city seven times, and the priests shall blow with the trumpets. And it shall come to pass, that when they make a long blast with the ram’s horn, and when ye hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall shout with a great shout; and the wall of the city shall fall down flat, and the people shall ascend up every man straight before him.And Joshua had commanded the people, saying, Ye shall not shout, nor make any noise with your voice, neither shall any word proceed out of your mouth, until the day I bid you shout; then shall ye shout. So the ark of the LORD compassed the city, going about it once: and they came into the camp, and lodged in the camp.
And Joshua rose early in the morning, and the priests took up the ark of the LORD. And seven priests bearing seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark of the LORD went on continually, and blew with the trumpets: and the armed men went before them; but the rereward came after the ark of the LORD, the priests going on, and blowing with the trumpets. And the second day they compassed the city once, and returned into the camp: so they did six days. And it came to pass on the seventh day, that they rose early about the dawning of the day, and compassed the city after the same manner seven times: only on that day they compassed the city seven times. – Joshua 6:2-15.

Notice that God instructs His people to circle the city of Jericho, without raising a weapon, for seven days. And Joshua is emphatic that the people remain silent. No one is to speak or utter a sound for the seven days. And then on the seventh day, after the city was circled seven times, the nation would shout, and the walls of Jericho crumbled to dust and the Israelites slaughtered their enemies in the city and burnt it to the ground.

And it came to pass at the seventh time, when the priests blew with the trumpets, Joshua said unto the people, Shout; for the Lord hath given you the city….So the people shouted when the priests blew with the trumpets: and it came to pass, when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city. And they utterly destroyed all that was in the city, both man and woman, young and old, and ox, and sheep, and ass, with the edge of the sword. – Joshua 6:16-21.

The most impenetrable city in the world was defeated by supernatural judgment of God. And this followed seven days of silence. So again, the Biblical pattern is clear: there is a period of silence before Judgement of The Lord comes.

King David’s Pleaangel-WHATSHOTN

King David seemed to have a good understanding of this concept as shown in Psalm 28:

Unto thee will I cry, O LORD my rock; be not silent to me: lest, if thou be silent to me, I become like them that go down into the pit. Hear the voice of my supplications, when I cry unto thee, when I lift up my hands toward thy holy oracle. Draw me not away with the wicked, and with the workers of iniquity, which speak peace to their neighbours, but mischief is in their hearts. Give them according to their deeds, and according to the wickedness of their endeavours: give them after the work of their hands; render to them their desert. Because they regard not the works of the LORD, nor the operation of his hands, he shall destroy them, and not build them up.– Psalm 28:1-5.

David’s plea to the Lord highlights what can lead to The Lord being silent with a person. It is those who are headed for damnation (“who go down to the pit”). The unrepentant sinners who have no fear or understanding of God. David makes his case by reminding God of his prayer and worship of The Lord. He is proclaiming his belief in God as the sovereign ruler of his life. But those who are wicked, workers of sin, deceitful (“they speak peace to their neighbors, but mischief is in their hearts”), and do not acknowledge God (“they regard not the works of the LORD, nor the operation of his hands..”), they do not receive a Word from The Lord. And their ultimate end is destruction. So again, it’s clear that the silence of God precedes devastating judgment.

Psalm 50 provides a stern warning:

But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, or that thou shouldest take my covenant in thy mouth? Seeing thou hatest instruction, and casteth my words behind thee. When thou sawest a thief, then thou consentedst with him, and hast been partaker with adulterers. Thou givest thy mouth to evil, and thy tongue frameth deceit. Thou sittest and speakest against thy brother; thou slanderest thine own mother’s son. These things hast thou done, and I kept silence; thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one as thyself: but I will reprove thee, and set them in order before thine eyes. Now consider this, ye that forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver. – Psalm 50:16-22.

So again we see the pattern: rebellion against God, that rebellion reaching an extreme limit, silence from God, then judgment. Here God Himself, speaking through the Psalmist warns the sinner in deep rebellion that if they continue to forget God, they will be torn in pieces with no chance of deliverance.

The Wrath of God In Revelation

With these prophetic types and precepts the understanding of the silence in heaven becomes clearer:

And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour. And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets. – Revelation 8:1-2.

In this future event that takes place during the end times the seven trumpets given to the angels who stand before The Lord each bring forth devastating judgments to the people on Earth. The trumpets, along with the vial judgments that follow, are the true outpouring of God’s wrath. The Earth itself will be damaged and poisoned, millions upon millions suffer and perish. The trumpets will be discussed in much more detailed in later installments of this series, but the point to understand is that just as it was in the days of Noah, and as it was at the battle of Jericho, the silence of God comes before He is preparing to unleash His wrath.

Is The Silence Really For A Half Hour?

It is this author’s contention that the silence in Heaven is not actually for 30 minutes. Hence the Scripture saying “about the space of half an hour.” The Apostle John makes the point that he is not marking an exact duration of time. Could the sequence of events be the 6th Seal with its Rapture, global earthquake and stellar signs, the opening of the 7th seal and then seven days of silence before The Lord’s wrath begins with the blowing of the trumpets and their unprecedented judgments on Earth? While this author will not be dogmatic and say it’s definitely so, the consistency is there. At the flood in Genesis, the silence of God was for seven days. At Jericho, there were seven days of silence until the city was circled seven times. In Revelation, the seventh seal is open, which leads to the silence and then seven angels are given seven trumpets to unleash God’s wrath.  The types and shadows of Scripture certainly give some credence to the idea.

Pray For God To Not Be Silent

If God seems silent in your life, cry out to Him in prayer.

If God seems silent in your life, cry out to Him in prayer.

There are many mysterious verses in Scripture but the beauty of the Bible is that with God’s Holy Spirit and enough study, they can be understood. And while the Silence in Heaven is a future event, Scripture is quite clear that when we are in rebellion God can be silent with us. And that is a scary proposition. Make sure you are hearing from The Lord every day by studying His Word also find Salvation and praying consistently with repentance.

Be silent, O all flesh, before the LORD: for he is raised up out of his holy habitation.

Purring Cats and Roaring Tigers

People have always been fascinated with cats, including both house cats and tigers.

What a beautiful specimen of God's handiwork!

What a beautiful specimen of God’s handiwork!

Whether it’s a fierce tiger basking in the sunshine or a fun-loving tomcat crouched and waiting to play with its owner, one of the most beautiful of God’s creatures is the cat.

They have been revered throughout history. The lion, commonly called the king of beasts, is mentioned many times in Scripture. Jesus Himself is called the Lion of Judah, a metaphorical expression of His greatness, power, and kingship.

Striped Beauty

Perhaps the most recognizable cat is the lion’s slightly larger cousin, the tiger. Very similar to lions in size and body shape, tigers are easily recognized by their built-in camouflage system: bold brown or black stripes against fur that ranges from light yellowish-orange to almost red, perfect for crouching concealed in tall grass or slinking among the trees.

Of the eight sub-species of tiger, three—the Caspian, Balinese, and Javan—are considered extinct, and the remaining five are critically endangered. Estimates put the most numerous of the tigers, the Bengal, at 3,000–5,000 in the wild, primarily in India. This is more than the other four sub-species combined.

Versatile and agile, tigers can reach 50 mph (80.5 kmh).

Another sub-species, the South Chinese tiger, is considered “functionally extinct,” with as few as 20 still living in the wild.

The Indochinese tiger, with an estimated population of 1,200, makes its home in the Malayan Peninsula.

The Sumatran tiger numbers approximately 500 and is considered by some to be a separate species because of its isolation.

The largest of all wild cats (1) is the stunning Siberian tiger. It is believed that there are no more than 400 Siberian tigers in the wild, primarily in eastern Russia. This beautiful cat can grow to 10 feet (3 m) and can weigh more than 600 pounds (272 kg). It also has thicker, longer fur than its southern relatives.

There’s a Tiger on Your Sofa

Despite its massive size, the tiger has a great deal in common with all other cats, including the one curled up asleep on your sofa. The ability to roar (or more technically, the anatomy that makes roaring possible) is the one feature that sets apart big cats—tigers, lions, leopards, jaguars, and snow leopards—from small cats, although not all “small” cats are small. Cats that don’t roar possess the ability to purr, although why and how cats purr remains a mystery.

Big or small, roaring or purring, cats possess unique characteristics: they are meticulous groomers, they love to slink, pounce, and play, and they are independent. Their tongues contain tiny Velcro-like barbs, their ears can rotate, and their long whiskers help them find their way through small places.

It is very likely that all cats in the world today—from tigers to housecats—are descended from a pair of cats that boarded the Ark with Noah. Amazing variety was manifested after the cats left the Ark and as they spread throughout the new world.

Like house cats, tigers sleep between 16 and 20 hours a day, and they love to stretch out in the sunshine; like tigers, house cats will hide behind barriers and sneak up on their prey.

The strong similarities among big cats, small cats, and house cats are easily explained by the biblical “kind.” When God created each kind of animal, He placed within them information to produce an amazing variety of offspring. In the past few centuries alone, man has bred hundreds of unusual cats from the same original stock.

The fact that different species of cats can interbreed is strong evidence that they belong to the same family that is the same biblical kind, Even before the liger (lion father and tiger mother) found its way to the spotlight in popular culture animal keepers crossed species of cats to create tigons (tiger father and lion mother), leopons (lion and leopard parents famous in Japan). and pumards (puma father and leopard mother), the bobcat-lynx hybrid is well known in the exotic pet market. Even domestic cats have been bred with wild cat species to create new breeds such as the Bengal and the Savannah.

Killer Instinct?

Cats, and especially tigers, are perfect killing machines—powerful, silent, camouflaged, with large teeth, retractable claws, and barbed tongues for scraping meat off bones. But did God create tigers to be meat-eating killing machines?

We know from Scripture that the original cat kind was vegetarian (Genesis 1:29). It is possible that their sharp teeth and powerful jaws allowed them to eat certain kinds of tough plants. Retractable claws are useful for a number of purposes besides stalking and killing—for example, tigers mark their territory with their front claws. And those wonderful barbed tongues are just the thing for an animal that is particular about its grooming. Nevertheless, it is possible that some of the cat’s specialized features, such as markings on its fur, were manifested after God’s curse upon the earth.

Tigers, like other animals, are magnificently designed to survive, even in a fallen world of bloodshed and death. Powerful and beautiful, they remain one of God’s most fascinating creatures.

Did You Know?

  • The tiger has longer hind limbs than forelimbs, which allow it to leap.
  • Unlike most other cat species, tigers love the water.
  • Tigers are very powerful swimmers. They can cross rivers that are up to 5 miles (8 km) wide.
  • No two tigers have the same stripe pattern.
  • A tiger can eat up to 85 pounds(39 kg) of meat at one sitting.
  • Tiger cubs weigh only about 2.4 pounds (1 kg) at birth.
  • A tiger’s eyesight is said to be six times better than a human’s.
  • White tigers get their color from a mutation in their genes.
